I have no issues with the techniques.

I may clone myself.  Then when I'm a decrepit old whacko, my enslaved younger self can take care of me.  The chump.

Or you could just, like emperor Palpatine, transfer your consciousness from clone to clone! Muahahahaha!

My ideal is to clone the female me and then transfer consciousness.   I don't care what I look like as a female as long as I have the body of one.  Hell, I'd run naked through the streets!

I know gay couples and it doesn't bother me if they use one of those techniques you listed.

Oh clone me, with more of me I could do even less, by having more of me doing even fewer things.  Think of the combined sloth of the collective.  Wow.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Sounds like something a Borg goth band would come up with.

To be honest, all this new fangled technology ->-bleeped-<- makes my stomach churn. I'm an old fashioned type soul.

I do not see anything wrong with the science or technology. It is the ethics in which they are used that need to be human. Ethics change as culture changes, but to define what is human will evolve. Not all things new are of a benefit to the evolution process.Hopefully we have the wisdom to choose the best way.

My only concern with it is the same with all of the plastic surgery being done. Eventually we will all look the same.

I think we may be on the verge of hooking-up those computers and robots and assigning humans to 'The Matrix' or 'Zion.' -- Wanna be Neo? I'll do the Trinity part!!! hahahahaha

As with most of our technology I think we will make many mistakes and commit some very deep horrors before we realize that to know how to do a thing is not to know how to live with it in comfort.

What are your thoughts on new technologies that may allow for human-animal hybrids to be created, etc.

I am scared at what could be done, but I am encouraged that it can be done.
