I was finally be able to make some progress on my car after being stuck for the last few weeks. Hopefully this week I'll be able use it again and I can go and get a quote from the bodyshop. What I'm gonna hear from them won't make me happy probably :D

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Dear Stephanie:
This is terrific news and a happy moment for you....  and even your bills had your correct name on the envelopes!!!  You have arrived!!!   But of course, even years later you may get something without your correct name on it... probably junk mail or some old document or membership that fell between the cracks of your name and gender changing efforts to make all of the corrections.

Thank you for sharing your happy moment!
Hugs,
Danielle

The trick or treating has started!  ;D

A first! Today everything I'm wearing is feminine. A pair of black jeggings, black shirt, black sweater and jacket (it's cold here). A little perfume and for the kicker I am using lipstick. Found a shade that matches my natural lip color. As far as I can tell I'm not drawing any second glances.
I'm a man. I like being a man. I also love wearing women's clothing. It's my way to show honor, respect and solidarity with them.

I saw that snow is coming our way so it was time to change the summer wheels on the car to the winter set. Because I decided that this weekend will be girly weekend no matter what, I did not change back to male presentation to do this.

It was quite cold, I had to wear something warm but I wanted to look good(very important while changing tyres in a closed and empty parking lot :D) In the end I wore my medium-high heeled wedge boots, jeggings and my newest winter coat which makes me look like I have some hips :)

It seems that presenting as female affected my tyre changing skills in a bad way as I did not check the rotation indicator of the front tyres and I installed them on the wrong side so I had to do them again :D

After that I went on a test run, I stopped at a gas station to fill up the car and adjust the tyre pressures. As soon as the station attendant saw me coming in, he immediately came out from the shop to help but I politely declined. He was not so eager to help men, who arrived after me :D

After all that workout with hauling the winter wheels to the car, doing 6 wheel changes instead of 4 and hauling the summer wheels back to my apartment while wearing wedge heels, I felt pretty good. As soon as I headed home sleet started falling so it seems my timing was perfect :)

An astrophoto of mine is going to appear in the Jan/Feb issue of SkyNews magazine.  ;D  It has already been a Photo of the Week on their website, and won a local contest back in the summer.

Kathy Lauren,

What are the specifics of what we are looking at in your award winning astrophoto?

It is a globular cluster, basically a big, round ball of stars.  This particular one is called M-13, and is in the constellation Hercules, visible in the summertime.  It is actually visible to the naked eye, if you know where to look, how to look, and have a dark enough sky.

Globular clusters are associated with our Milky Way galaxy, but are separate from the general population of stars that we see in the night sky.  Each cluster, as a unit, is in orbit around the core of the Milky Way galaxy.
