I think I haven't bought any male clothing in the last 6 or 7 years and I'm not fulltime. I have a big wardrobe filled with women's clothing, some clothes are very feminine, others are not so much, those are the ones I wear when I still have to present as male. One of the first things I have discovered is how much better women's pants fit me. Before buying my first women's jeans I have never had pants that fit me correctly.
If I want some motivation to lose weight, I just have to think about the beautiful clothes in my wardrobe to motivate me even more. I can fit into all my dresses but they look a lot better on me when I'm not overweight.
The lack of variety in men's clothing is especially apparent around spring and fall, when the temperature is not too cold or too hot to narrow down the clothing choices. Women wear every imaginable combination, you can see skirts, pants, dresses, tops, short and long, sandals and boots in very different styles and colors at the same time and place. Looking around on these days you can hardly see two women who are dressed in the exact same manner. Men's clothing can sometimes be quite practical and that's about the only positive thing I can think of.
