I once ate a steak and I knew it's name.  Does that make me a heartless bastard?  :icon_evil_laugh:

only if it was well done  :D

Androgynes are a rare breed

:-* you silly pun-makers!  Is it possible to have a pun fetish?  :icon_weee:

that reminds me of a song by Liam Lynch.  It's called, "I'm all bloody inside".  heh.

Thanks Jaimey. I'm still bloody inside. Perhaps that's TMI. I just want to go back to work and burn off more of the food I eat anyway.

Last night, I thought we'd use up the leftover roast chicken from Friday night, so I made chicken lo mein. It tasted good, and I timed dinner so my daughter asked to be excused just before my wife arrived back from New York. The former was not thrilled to be summoned back to sit and converse; she missed the end of a NEW Criminal Minds. Tonight it's back to using one of those cows you guys shot for a small roast with garlic cauliflower. What are you vegans serving?

I think I'll start signing my posts 'S', ala Zythyra's 'Z'. That's how I sign e-mails to my wife, and no one else is using it yet.

Here's to peaceful converse and good food,

*Now* I feel slack - I don't sign mine at all, half the time.  Guilt-trip me, why don't you.... ;)

Lutin, Lutin:

I missed signing my last posting, and I surely don't set fashions and norms here. Z, Rebis, Jaimey, Nero, and Pica Pica are among those I look to as androgyne role models. From personal experience, I'd recommend you avoid getting mired down in guilt; when I worry about past mistakes, I am more likely to be making more mistakes in the present. As for signing, I guess it is one way to take responsibility for the words I write, and a signal that I cede the floor to the next speaker.

As you were,  ;)

Thank you for the nice words, S, but I'm not sure the others qualify for such praise.   :P

Simone,

That's nice of you to think of me as a role model... however I have no idea of what I'm doing. Just living out here on the edge of gender without a safety net

A bearded Pica!!  :o OK, perhaps a goatee could work for you  :)

I was bearded for many years. Not anymore though, it's kinda hard to pass as female w/ a beard.  ::)

If it weren't for my undeniable X-X chromosomes ::), I'd grow a moustache. Maybe not a beard, just 'cause I feel furry enough already (one week after plucking my eyebrows I have a Frida Kahlo monobrow again! It's crazy!), but a moustache would be kinda cool... 8)

Tried it once upon a time in my effort to convince everybody of how manly I was (liek that was ever gonna work...) but thankfully I could not quite get the technique of the soup-strainer down properly.

My girlfriend has a near mustache.  It's quite visible, but it doesn't grow out and the hair is soft.  I love it.   If I were a female body, I'd like to be able to grow a soft mustache.  Maybe a goatee.

Hi Ell,

You're as beautiful as I thought you would be.    :)

I missed the flexo episode.  I'm trying to catch them all, but my partner holds me hostage while she controls the channels.

Hmmm, that might explain why she is growing hair on her chin.

Hi Rebis, Yes Ell is a very beautiful lookin lady and to look at her facial expression, she appears to be so benign and blissful. "Hee, hee, hee." Well I ain't no stranger to those types of characteristics either. ;)

It's not really what you could call a moustache, unfortunately, but every few months I have to shave my upper lip 'cause after a while it looks like there's a permanent shadow there. :P

A few years ago I went to a holiday revision thing for French (it was right before our final HSC exams), and there were *four* girls there with definite moustaches. And I mean, *really* obvious, like a few millimetres long (which is longer than most girls have).

There once was a man named Michael Finnegan,
He grew whiskers on his chin-egan,
The wind came along and blew them in again,
Poor old Michael Finnegan, begin again.

On a completely different note, I love the flowers and fairies, Cindy. :)

facial hair is scratchy...not good for :-*.  heh.

and as most of my male friends have found out, the mustache by itself is rarely a good idea.  :D  hehe.  it takes a special face to pull off a mustache.
