This relates to our community because I am saving ALL of my money that I get from one of my jobs for transition.

I saw on the computer at work today that they said I only worked 33.41 hours last week, when really, I worked 44.

I guess I will talk to my manager in the morning, but if she won't change it, could I sue? Haha

I'm sure it's probably a mistake.  It's happened to me a few times.  Just ask the manager to review your time card or whatever so they can fix it.  I'm sure it's not a big deal, well hopefully.

Well, at work, you have to be "unblocked" when you clock out by a shift supervisor.

If they forget to "unblock" you, the computer takes it as you never clocked in.  Plus, they get rid of the schedules the week after...

I remember my hours exactly, down to the minute, so hopefully they can work it out tomorrow.

I'm sure it will be fine.  Do you have like a timecard or anything specific as for proof that you can show them or that they have as well? 

The unblocking situation is a little technical haha, but I mean, they have to remember the hours everyone works.  I don't think they could just screw you over that easily.  At least I think.

Well, they throw away the paper schedules after every week.

As for looking in the computer, if I wasn't "unblocked," it shows that I never clocked in.

The only "evidence" I have is a written schedule by me of the exact hours I worked.  I know for a fact that they are correct. 

In the future brady, it is good practice to get a copy of the schedule at least and if possible get your supervisor to initial next to each time you work, that kind of proof is best. Hopefully they are just mistaken. I will be hoping for the best. You could sue but odds are you would just be shooting yourself in the foot. Best to just talk to your manager calmly and politely like you are doing with us. Let us know what happens.
