That's exactly how our situation was. He was on a steady decline but he was stable. As a mater of fact, there was no mention of cancer even though he told his doctors every two weeks he had an issue with his stomach. They checked and checked and there was never anything. Then all of a sudden it was stage 4 and terminal. It's not easy hun but I know you'll get through it. You are a strong woman.

Arianna, I am sorry you father's is not well. He has a very special daughter that is there for him and loves him.

This is a tough thing to be going through. Any time is bad, but especially right now with all the expectations of the season.

Before my dad passed away, the doctors were saying for weeks, actually over a month, that he was about to leave us. Making us think it was only days each time. They were so wrong, and it added to the stress that me and my siblings had to go through.

Take care of yourself, and don't put too many demands on a perfect farewell. Life and death is messy.

Actually that describes exactly what I'm going through about four five years ago they told him he only had 6 months to live yes I said that correctly four or five years ago he only has 6 months to live about three years ago he only had four months to live so they have yet to be correct and the way he puts it he's hanging in there like a hair in a Biscuit yeah he's old school and Country go figure LOL but know your post was absolutely wonderful and it is very much appreciated

He seems to be doing fine I went up to the hospital to see him and to take him some ham because I told him I would cook a ham for Christmas and bring him some he seemed in good spirits he thought for sure that he was going to die the other night cuz he could not breathe my oldest nephew went up to see him as well which was very kind he loves his grandpa but everything seems to be going good and I am doing good I have a lot of friends and a lot of support that are helping me through this trying time friends like you and everybody else here thank you though
