Hey all.  Figured I'd go ahead and make a post after having just arrived in Bangkok.  My surgery date is the 28th of February, so it's super close.

PAI's driver waited over an hour for me and got me to where I needed to go.  So far everyone I've interacted with has been very pleasant and cordial.  So far so good.  I'll keep this thread updated as my journey continues. 🙂

If you're in the area PM me!  I'm solo and would love some company to go shopping, get food, sightsee, and for other shenanigans.
Carpe diem.

I was in Bangkok in February 2018 for GCS & BA so I missed you by a year.  I did, however, travel solo and it is definitely possible.

A friend from Singapore visited for a few days after surgery and I met another one of Chett's girls a couple of times after surgery.  It is really important that you have social contact after surgery, otherwise the days will drag on and you won't have anybody to cheer you up or lighten your days in the first week post-op.  Meeting other girls is definitely the way to go  :)

I wish you well - hope that surgery goes amazingly and that you recover perfectly.

P.S. everybody is so polite and kind in Thailand and the food is amazing.

I was there as a solo traveller last July getting SRS also from Dr.Sutin.

I´ve been extremely pleased of the result!

Take a laptop with you and watch movies, netflix etc etc. I at least didn´t have the strength or will to do anything else. Just watched movies and once a day walked across the street to get something to eat :)

You need also to avoid much walking. Be careful and everything goes well!

Heading to Thailand also in June. Six weeks of travelling the country and then BA from Dr.Sutin :)

I totally agree.  My experience overall has been amazing.  PAI definitely takes care of you and has exceeded my expectations.

That's all I've been doing is watching a little TV, sipping on water, passing out for an hour or two, then do it all over again. Lol.  Dr. Sutin, his staff, and the nurses at Phyathai 2 have been so great.  😌
Carpe diem.
