Making the Most out of the Transition

I read a lot of people talking about the changes being too slow and being upset about their process.
There are a lot of SAFE things you can do to help your process along. If anybody needs a diet plan and wants more information about it, please let me know.

One of the advantages I have had for having to wait to start my process is, that I was able to plan for my illnesses and how I could get changes the way I would like.

There are also a lot of easy mistakes

AFAB FTM persons often make the mistake of taking supplements that assist with the transfer of aromatase (a really helpful chemical in the body that makes Estrogen (a particular type) into Free moving Testosterone.  If you are not born a man at birth, you can actually hinder your own development by taking these, because most Transmen (in the early years of their process) dont realize that you need the Estrogen to create muscle and change your body. Taking items that block E all together can delay your development!

Trust more sources than shady articles. Everybody's body is different. People transition for all types of reasons, but the collective, is to love yourself.

Making the most of your change is so you love yourself, not apply a totally different set of toxic masculine behaviors, body shaming behaviors and Unrealistic expectations.

For example, I am short. I have always been short, and when I imagine myself, I hoped I would be tall. This is not a realistic change.

Being able to prevent yourself from creating unrealistic goals can help you to feel more satisfied of the process and changes later.

No matter what your transition goal is, everybody's goal is to love themselves. Part of that isn't just physical. It is also mental wellness, behavior skills and adapting the quickly to being triggered (for lack of a better term) by things that make you question yourself or compare yourself to others. Most (I say most to be inclusive) Transitioning folks I have met or talked to experience Dysphoria and other symptoms that can be managed by wellness work.

About five years ago I weighed 219 lbs. I am 5 foot 2.  So that was not good. It was at the height of my self hatred, when my Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome kicked in and I was prescribed birth control. If you are a transmen who has or has had to take birth control, then you understand this to be a super huge pain in the ego. The BC feminized me and emphasized my dislike for myself. Eating disorder among other things is apparently, very common, among trans persons who experience dysphoria.

Since my departure from the military, and a lot of personal work, therapy, and lots of studies I turned things around. 162 lbs, benching 110, 3 mile time 14 minutes.

Progress. Also if you are person experiencing inflammation (there are so many reasons for inflammation and body water retention) try adding turmeric to your diet.

Great advice.
I reccommend: eat dark chocolate that has lots of cocoa, cocoa butter but low on no sugar. It takes a little bit of getting used to but it is very tasty and....it is healthy and promotes the biochemistry associated with being in love.  It increases a positive mood and will make you feel more active ... it will support your excercise efforts . And contains lots of antioxidants or so i'm told. Don't eat it too much or in te evening. It will keep you awake then probably. 
Also moderate amounts of st johnswort tea will support positive mood. Too much will make you sleepy. Be ware it interacts strongly with hormonal contraceptives and other medications.
Too much would also result in overexcitation and hospitalisation ! Read about st johnswort before taking it. It's an anti-depressant.

Im already a fan of the dark and the bitter. Yea has great antioxidants too.  Something you should know about St Johns Wart is that it can really negatively impact serotonin levels if you are on an SSRI.

I would not recommend people to use St Johns unless they  are told to. If you are effected by certain mental illness or even body chemistry, it can cause severe effects. SSRIs are nothing to mess around with and Herbal items, just because they are herbal, does not mean they are safe for you.
