I enjoyed Elder Scrolls Online. I stopped shortly after I hit 160 on my main. Mainly because I got bored playing alone.

Recently I began playing Dungeons and Dragons Online again. I'm rather enjoying it.

I'm playing Minecraft with my partner and our son. We have a realm if anyone would like to join us; we're using the super cute texture pack

I've been playing Prominence Poker. It was a free download from the PlayStation store. It's the very best poker game I've ever played.

What type of poker is it? Like is it just regular 5 draw poker, or Texas Hold 'Em? Those are the only types I know how to play. Or other? Or all?

Has been a while since this was posted in, lol.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, like a good chunk of gamers right now. The weird thing is... I played the original not long after I joined the site. When it was still reasonably new. Way, way before Skyrim. Which shows what a giant chunk of time it's been. And that freaks me out a li'l bit. But damn it's addictive.

Like @Sephirah, I got hooked on RPGs way, way back. My first addiction was Daggerfall. I loved that game! Then graduated to Elder Scrolls. I played Skyrim for many years and modded the heck out of it.  ;D

For quite a while, I played online games like World of Warcraft, World of Tanks, Warplanes, Warships, and a few others like Eve. I found that I enjoy PVE, exploring the game worlds, but never cared for PVP. That led me to other games like Cyberpunk, Generation Zero, and Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Over the past couple of years, I've gotten more into city-builder games. I played SimCity up through SimCity 4. Then I discovered other similar games that take place in different time periods.

Dawn of Man starts you out with a small tribe of cave people, and you must get them to collect wood for fires, structures, and tools; hunt for food and skins, etc. As your tribe grows, so does its "technology" (stone, mining, metals, and domesticated animals).

Medieval Dynasty is a FPS game where you build a small town. There are quests that you can ignore, but eventually, you get blocked and cannot proceed further until you complete them.

Then I discovered Banished. Wowza. Playing the game got me hooked, and then (like any addiction) it wasn't enough. So I downloaded the Colonial Charter mod. That almost makes it like a new game. There are plenty of other mods for this game that totally change it and give it a whole new experience.

I don't play much when the weather is warm. I am usually outside digging up rocks.  ;D  But when it gets cold and snowy, I stay inside and build cities.

I acquired two Meta Quest 3 systems several months ago, mostly to let my kids play some VR games they were interested in. I recently tried two games on them I am enjoying. The first is Boxing Underdog, which (surprisingly) is a boxing game. Graphically, it's pretty decent, and the game play mechanics are better than the other major VR boxing game named Thrill of the Fight 2 (which I also have, but don't play anymore because it's just constant spammers and you can't find a fair fight).

The other game I just got a few days ago is a first person RPG/action game named Behemoth. It's pretty cool so far. I have played it for a total of maybe 30 minutes, so I'm not very far into it. But it is graphically impressive for a standalone VR game and has some innovative gameplay mechanics.

I also play old Nintendo 3DS games on the VR headsets. There is an emulator named Citra VR that runs 3DS games. They look incredible in 5x native revolution, and since they were natively designed for a stereoscopic display they give a nearly perfect 3D experience on the Quest 3. I have really enjoyed Metroid Samus Returns on it.

I'm playing Super Mario 64 on my Switch Lite. It's the one where you have to collect the stars to be able to open the doors. Lol.

Never had you down as a PvP player @Susan :) That game looks kind of interesting. It looks a bit like 7 Days to Die crossed with a kind of survival Far Cry.

I tried this on my xbox. Omg I so couldn't get into it. It was way too hardcore. I am not good with building games, honestly. While you slowly starve to death. My idea of building a base is like literally a cube with a lot of chests inside to store stuff lol. I am not imaginative in these kinds of things at all, lol.

When I have time to game these days, I am still kind of obsessed with Baldur's Gate 3. Although I am very much looking forward to Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2... although I don't have super high hopes for it considering how long it has been in development hell. We can but hope.

OMG, Far Cry. I had such a love/hate relationship with that game. I loved exploring the world and just doing my thing. Then I got stuck at the quest where you have to drive a car around the racetrack. My neuropathy deprives me of hand/eye coordination, and I just could not drive the car. Especially not while shooting at the enemy or doing anything other than driving. I tried driving about a dozen times, then I rage-quit and uninstalled.

The driving in those games is always kind of wonky. I admit it's really cool in the latest one, Far Cry 6. Because you can choose a female protagonist and when she's in her own car, she sings along with the songs coming out of the radio. It's so adorable, lol. You kind of just want to drive along to hear her enthusiastically sing along slightly off key, haha. It's a really nice little touch.

The exploration stuff is always the best part in those games, though, and just going off the beaten track. Getting attacked by like a dozen badgers and wolverines gets kind of annoying though, lol.

My approach was always the stealthy sniper (yes, female character) in every game I played. The cities always had cargo containers and fire escapes to climb. So I would find a perch and wait. Sometimes I had to go to a certain location to spawn the enemies, then run back to my perch and pick them off.  ;D

Bows, crossbows, and daggers.

In some games, you just need more firepower, so definitely long guns and grenade launchers.

I deleted my account in World of Tanks in protest of some of the shenanigans going on at Wargaming. But I am thinking about getting back into it again. I might just play a free account and see. Rumor has it that they got the message and made some changes to the game.
