i drink more coffee each day. short black, and if i'm treating myself i might go to the nice barista lady who makes it best. she is close to my place and v frenly
but if i am sitting down to relax and spend some time by myself i make a pot of earl grey

the british have interesting tea rituals, but they all seem to take so much work
like, I don't want to break out two different kettles every time I want some milk in my tea.

Tea's not bad, but for every given way of making it you could make something better with the same amount of effort. Might as well skip the caffeine addiction and make some hot chocolate.

well first i get the good stuff, there's a place near to me that makes their own blends and they do a v good earl grey
i wake the pot up with a little hot water, swish it around then pour it out
then i pour a bit of water over the leaves, then let them sit for a second. i usually drink this first steep as it is rather than throw it away
then yeah make fill the pot up once the leaves have rested for a sec. leave it for idk, however long feels right
serve with lemon not milk!

respectfully disagree, both tea and coffee taste great and nicer than hot chocolate imo
but also caffeine is nice

I'm about the cheap stuff. Fancy hot chocolate just tastes like dark chocolate, and if I wanted that I'd just grab a bar at the grocery store. Gotta be Swiss Miss or the equivalent bargain brands that probably don't even have any actual cacao in them.
