All got dumped , it was my computer remembering the title that put it up when I didnt find any thread at first. Still I will fill the old one before reviving this.

I'm so glad life goes on!  Struggles?  There's been a few.  But I'm not giving up! I can see you aren't either.

Called in on Deb, picked some beans! and rhubarb . Wish I could get her out of her fug. Did a bit down the workshop but it got very hot 29C so came back home. Made some rhubarb crumble in ramakins cooked in air fryer.

29C (81f?) in my flat!! melting now and looks like it will be an uncomfortable night.

On my phone is an emoji of a smiley face melting.
I sent two of those side by side to my bestie. I said, "If boobs had smiley faces..."
Now we send those back and forth to indicate "boob sweat". 

Panic call from mum, my TV licence payment form still not come in the post so while she was on the phone I found the web site and sorted it for her. How do the numptys that do these thing think an older generation with no internet access are going to do this as they want to make everyone do this online.
  Well its going to be a hot one again, just walked to the chemist and store to pick up my meds and some cooking apples and it was HOT at 10.30. Thinnest top and long thin skirt helped but not much, both stores have air con so that makes it feel worse. Builders are finishing the flat roof on the garages in full sun, they will be glad when finished.
 Got my test results from mammogram ,all good.

It is, crumble topping recipe that was for 4 ramekins (I did 2) was enough for my 6ins oval dish! Thurs shop again, thundery rain on its way but hope it holds off till I get back. Have to be frugal this week, need to get a new windscreen for the daily and its £60 excess to pay. Time to use up some frozen stuff, have some meals I made and things like chicken Kiev and fish cakes that I got when reduced. Also have a few Thai green curry kits that I got when they were reduced to clear with a long use by date, you have to shop wisely these days. 

Spent to much in the hardware store but have the bits to do the lamps, forgot to get a cucumber but got some cheaper bits at the food shop. Mum was on her own so we went to the cafe for a drink after and mum got her sausage and chips for dinner. All looked good so I got a sausage and bacon baguette for lunch.
 Thank goodness a breeze has started cos I was sat here leaking doing nothing!

We had some rain, had to shut some windows to stop it blowing in! It was okay to open them again by bed time, got bit again in the night. Just the one but itches like hell, antihistamine cream then.
 Bit more lamp fabrication today, torpedo switches to fit on the 2 I made before ,wire up the new one and repair one that the bulb holder broke on. 

Well I fixed the lamps, switches were a faff to wire! Did a green curry with chicken and runner beans then tried that rice, courgette ,tomato recipe from TV on Mon from memory. Tastes okay.
 Mum rang just as I was starting to eat, typical, she has booked us on a coach trip for early Dec . Turkey and tinsel and it looks like the same place we went before.

So I went to the workshop, had to finish off 2 lamps. Started fitting the sill finishers (thats rockers for you state siders) and found a offcut of black vinyl that was long enough, trouble was it was a 1/4ins shy in the middle to go under the edge strip. Needless to say language unbecoming a women ensured!!
 Ah well I will call on Debs as she said she would be in all day, was she? of course not. D gave me a lettuce and 2 courgettes from his garden and I managed to find 6 plums from his tree, made enough jam for a sandwich. Not sure what I will do with the courgettes, one will go in my pork, prawn and courgette stirfry tomorrow. Still have beans from last week to use.

Called on Deb this morning, late coz I overslept. Picked about 8 beans and helped her sort some new lamps for the hall way and dining room. Went to mums after and scratched my arms to bits picking a bowl of blackberries, mum had already picked double that before I got there but some she had missed and some out of her reach. Came away with 4 bags, dropped one off with Deb. Might make blackberry jam (jelly) , as I have 2kilo! Will have to get some sugar as well. Looked in mums garage for that drill press but not to be seen, still I found a spray gun, roof car ariel as well as a new set of drills and metric taps/dies. If there is an auto jumble on at the show ground I will have enough stuff to take to make a stall.
