What are your favorite fun activities?

These could include leisure activities or professional activities, or both!

This could be simple things like watching birds or a waterfall or reading or sunbathing.
Or, perhaps more active activities, such as swimming, sitting in a hot tub, hiking, helping others, and so on.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I think you already know my answer.

Gold prospecting. But really treasure hunting of any sort.

I have two metal detectors. I do a lot of research on local history and stories of lost treasure. Sometimes, I will be out treasure hunting and find a place to do some gold prospecting, or maybe an interesting rock formation, then I switch over to being a rock hound.

It doesn't matter what I am doing as long as I am out in Nature enjoying Creation, I am happy.

I have done that too. Here, the beaches are on the shores of lakes and rivers. I have good luck at picnic areas and campgrounds. But those just yield a bunch of pocket change. Occasionally, an odd knick-knack.

One time I found what I thought was a silver lipstick tube. It had features that made no sense to me. After getting it cleaned up, I found three pieces of glass inside that turned out to be mirrors. It was a pocket-size kaleidoscope!

Pocket change is good.  It can help pay for expenses.

One time I found a $20 bill just laying by a hiking trail. Gas money!

My brother would tell me he lost some gold nuggets right near where I was prospecting and that he would like them back. I say, "Nice try."  ;D

Would most people know gold when they see it, if she uses a pan in the river?  Or would it just look like most other pebbles?

Most people won't find it unless looking for it. It is too small and hidden in dirt or water. But when you see it, it is unmistakable. When I was first learning, I had a hard time deciding if something was gold or pyrite. Gold stays shiny and yellow in the shade, but pyrite turns dark. Pyrite also floats but gold is heavy. When I found my first gold flake, I knew it instantly. Since then, I know what to look for.

Now if you could find just where the gold flake enters the water, perhaps you will get wealthier.

That is the key. I wrote a series of articles on my website discussing that. Finding the source is always the goal. ;D

I like either watching my DVDs rewatching supernatural, my horror dvds or doing my codeword puzzle book
