Quote from: Faith on September 21, 2024, 11:36:03 AMI never would. However, when the app mostly correctly identfies male vs female faces and 99% id's me as male  ..  well, let's just say that there is something to that. Plus, I stopped using the app, too depressing.
Oops, sorry I suggested that. I would not have believed it. Anyway sorry.

It does not work right for me either.  At least a few years back.  I have not tried it since.

I am surprised how little it changed when I asked it to do a feminine mode or whatever it was called.
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

This past Saturday, playing a show, started OK feeling good. Halfway through first set my right hand got all tingly numb, trembling uncontrollably- I couldn't use it. I had to stop playing. Fortunately our keyboard player could swap over to bass and they finished the set with songs not needing keyboard.

I had arthritis cream and muscle cream, which I applied. Made it back up for second set. I could play OK as long as I kept tension. If I relaxed the trembling took over.

A lady in the audience had followed into the ladies room during the issue, full of concern. After a couple questions she said she'd had a similar issue and recommended an over counter nerve cream. My daughter went and got some.

That stuff was awesome.  Within seconds the numbness and trembling was gone.  Anyone having similar overstimulated nerves, give it a try .. Theraworx Nerve Relief.

** had to take a pause to drive to work **

I followed up with my Primary Dr. I've been dealing with irregular heartbeat. Since it's inconsistent she recommended a smart watch for monitoring. Well, I finally got one that lasted long enough for me to start the app and record it. She made an appointment next day and now I'm wearing a heart monitor for a week.  I've pushed the flag button 3 times so far.  Hopefully we can figure this out.  Oh, and I'm supposed to make an appointment with a cardiologist. *sigh*
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

Heart Monitor removed and mailed in.
Appointment next week with a neurologist for my neck (the numb tingling issues)
Cardiologist appointment not until Nov. I suppose that if they call me in early then it's likely bad news :/

I've worn heart monitors a few times. I had what I described as heart "skips" and thought I was having a heart attack. My issue turned out to be PVCs. Harmless, but extremely irritating, especially when they go on for days. Hopefully, everything goes well for you!

supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)

I have all the bad symptoms. The results from the monitor were enough that my primary said that 1.5 months was too long to wait. So she called in and got my cardiologist appointment moved up to next Thu.

Fri I have an MRI scheduled for my neck/wrist issues.

Well, all my different heart tests came back in normal ranges. I have a new med that is taming the rhythm issue. My follow up is now a year out.

As for my neck, that's a mess. Physical therapy is easing the pain somewhat.  I'm looking to push off surgery until after the new year. Follow up with the neurologist is Wed.

I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I seriously expect the current environment to kill me off in the next year or so.

Oh, also, I'm "Internet Famous". We went to the medieval fair and, for the second time, I was asked if they could take my photo. This time, thanks to the lady at physical therapy (who only met me once) recognizing me, I actually saw the photo this time (facebook).

I am happy that your tests came back as normal. Hopefully, the medication will work well and keep you around for a long time.

That's great that you are now a celebrity! Great pic too.

Thanks for sharing.

I don't live in a safe state either. We are thinking about moving to either New Mexico or Colorado. Stay safe.
