Do they still make the Countryman brand/model of cars?

Its an Austin from 1951, countryman was the estate version. As a brand its been long gone due to bad management, poor quality due to lack of development (lack of money) and union action.
  Turned windy again and a bit rainy but warm with high of 14C !! Tomorrow back to 7C and some frost first thing. This weather is all over the place. Today I will mostly be cleaning engine parts, pass the rubber gloves.

Knickers, come down with some lurgy. Sore throat and tight chest and feel like poo, not man flu as went food shopping!! Its my Christmas shop, 4 bags full and 2 trips up stairs and still have a box of beer and some wine to carry up. Mum got a turkey (that was a bag full) that weighs 5kilo, about 3.5 hrs cooking time so up early Christmas morning. We will share up whats left over and that will last a few good days. Time for some more cough mixture, almost got my voice back.

For Thanksgiving when we had kids at home to feed, I would cook the turkey the night before.

Do this before going to bed. Put the turkey in a covered pan and stick it in the oven at 500 F for one hour. Then turn it off and go to bed. Leave the oven closed to hold in the heat. The next morning, the turkey is done and the oven can be used for other things like pies that do not require such a long cook time. Just reheat before serving.

Had a good sleep and better today, damn YPN decided to update and wreck my laptop again this morning and then a windows update. 3/4 of an hr waiting till it sorted itself out!!!!
 Have to walk to the chemist this morning and collect my patches and get some stuff I forgot yesterday in my food shop. Daughter just messaged back so off to see them Sunday.

Glad you're feeling better. Holiday colds are the worst.

NOS BMW cup holder that slides out the dash, it was going in the skip when we moved workshops. Made some tasty chicken soup farmhouse style, used some of the chicken from the Korma and a pot of frozen homemade stock with carrots and potato. Reduced price roll from the shop as well, forgot to get some stuffing mix.
 Off to see my daughter and her brood Sunday, just need to see when I can see the boys now.

Still grotty from this cold bug, hope I am okay for tomorrow but waiting to see when to come over tomorrow morning to the daughters. Messaged the boys, youngest replied but didnt know when I could go over as he said he has changed jobs (thanks for letting me know!) and still waiting on the eldest to reply. Might have to resend as being a plumber/kitchen/bathroom/gas fitter he is always busy. The band he plays drums in released a Christmas single and video of Run Run Rudolf, look up Wood Burnt Red for a laugh.
 Lots of cards and stuff to do today, was hoping to do them yesterday but felt to poorly. Mum said the ex has given her a card for me still dead named so I am putting Sandra on her card instead of Sandie!! and my name in capitals underlined. Got her the cheapest bottle of rose~ wine (cant find how to do the little tick on the e on here) I could find!!

How about an empty bottle of rose for your ex with a special message for here in the bottle?

We do "get on" okay when I speak to her, not that I go out of my way to! Eldest says he is going to daughters tomorrow morning so I will see him then.

Country rock, they have played at the UK Country award ceremony 2 years running and lots of festivals/gigs. Loads of tracks on down load sites.
