Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Yes, omg yes. I love, LOVE cream cheese. On crumpets it's like.... to die for. Don't bother with the Philly stuff though. That's just price gouging. Get supermarket own brand. Garlic and herb if you can find it. It's very subtle.

Probably is a different thing in the UK to the US though. Most things are.

I am a cream cheese fan too. I have no idea if the product is different across the world.

I knew I liked you for a reason. :)

You have two kinds of people in the UK. People who like cream cheese, and people who like "Cheese spread". They're very different things. One is horribly processed, and tastes like you're eating plastic... the other is cream cheese.

It's ok but comparing it to  Stilton  is like the  difference  between  a  Honda  and a Rolls  Royce

In the USA there are people who like cheese and people that like "pasteurized cheese food," whatever that is.

How anyone can eat blue cheese is... you have my respect. It's not my thing, at all. If I want mold I'll lick the walls in my aunt's flat. Just... *shudders*

It's the stuff they make Dairylea in the UK out of. It tastes like eating old CD covers. I'm sure it's nice if you're a fan of Take That.

I have seen the spray on cheese you have over there, Chrissy. I kind of think I want to try some just out of morbid curiosity. Cheese Whizz or something?

No I do not have cheese whizz.  I do have some cheddar cheese spread.

Can you get proper English crumpets over there?

They look like this:

If you can, do them in a toaster... a good, wide toaster, then liberally spread cream cheese on them, with cucumber, or pickles or whatever you fancy. The best breakfast you ever had.

This looks a lot like an English muffin as found in the USA.

Thomas English Muffins. Oh, yeah. Warm with melty butter and cream cheese. They are the bombdiggity.

In that case, I have never had a crumpet.

But I do love English Muffins in the toaster.

Lori,

I enjoy a good English muffin.  However, I take them out of the toaster before eating and enjoying them.

I doubt you can get proper crumpets over there. So your English muffins are good enough.

If I ever met either of you though, you'd both get the real thing. And lori, a mug of very good coffee to go with it. <3

Oh, and normally I don't advocate this... but you have to try peanut butter on a crumpet/English muffin. Proper chunky stuff. With actual peanuts. It's to die for. :D

I will have to try that. Eating them while wearing oven mitts is so awkward.  ;D

I did get some cream cheese to go in the salmon on cruet and had 1/2 a tub left over so ate it with crackers and cucumber. Was okay but with Big Kim, a slice of blue Stilton is much nicer (sorry Sephirah)

I enjoy cream cheese on a bagel but I don't eat them very often. In fact I mostly don't eat breakfast at all.
