Quote from: big kim on January 16, 2025, 03:44:03 PMVisit to my hairdressers  for a trim.  Managed 1.8 miles walk round the  town centre  then pizza for tea.  A good day

That's great. I love someone working on my hair but I'm trying to grow it out so a bit of a conflict.  Haha. Can't beat a good pizza.

I hope YOUR day is wonderful!

This reminds me of a saying that goes something like this:

There are basically two ways to live your life:
One is as though nothing is a miracle
The other is as though nearly everything is.

Enjoy each day to the fullest and enjoy the miracles of life.
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

ChrissyRyan made me happy today when she reminded me about the quote from Albert Einstein:

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

I'll take miracles, for today.

Meeting up with a couple friends of mine, Allanah and Mitch whom are twins. Known them for 25 years now. Mitch is a post op FTM transsexual and Allanah is a fulltime MTF crossdresser. Learned Mitch and Allanah knew they were different. Mitch knew he was unhappy as a girl and Allanah loved going through his closet going through his clothes when he was "Mandy".Allanah took a few out and tried them on. Both came out at age 14 which their parents have been supportive seeing Mitch is much happier as and Allanah is happy as a fulltime MTF crossdresser. Met them at a LGBT meet up in January of 2000

If this is a paid holiday for you, enjoy your break and do remember this day is in honor of a famous civil rights leader in the USA,
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  If today is not a paid holiday, or if it is a "floating holiday" for you, I also hope your day is a pleasant one.

It is also happens to be Inauguration Day.

Stay warm too.

I spent a couple of hours today with my favorite guitar, Sookie.

I turned on the ITablaPro metronome app, grooving in the key of A. For 2 hours I just felt the rhythm pulsing through me and out my instrument. I'm in a meditative, blissy state.

Thank you for asking what made me happy today!

Hope. Hope is everything. My government can strip me of my rights, but they can never steal my hope.

Darkness has no power to hold back light. Turn on the light in a dark room, and the darkness retreats like it never existed.

I am the light!

Eeeeee!

I received word this morning that the Oregon Zoo welcomed a newborn Asian Elephant Saturday afternoon!!! The zoo staff put up a YouTube video of the baby girl's first hours. She is healthy and beautiful! And she was born on my birthday!

As a member of the Oregon Zoo who visits my favorite animals often, I really cannot wait to see our newest zoo resident.

That's what makes me happy on this Monday.

Your post made me so happy just reading it. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind sharing the link to the video?

I'd love to see the beautiful baby too!
