Sometimes you hear something and it just... it hits you hard. I've been trying to find this track for years. This is... this is the soundtrack to my childhood. I heard it when I was a kid, very early one morning on a radio show and it struck a massive chord with me. I didn't realise the significance at the time but looking back now, it speaks volumes about how I was feeling at the time.

And on the subject of older stuff that is part of the soundtrack to your life... this is another one. I know it got used with creepy Ezra Miller fondling someone in slo-mo and being really icky... not a good fit. But this song gives me chills every time I listen to it.

ITS A TRUMP TO THE LEFT

This song played when Susan and I walked down the aisle to become 'partners in life'. We've had many difference through the years, and I still don't understand why she stayed by my side. I have asked her, and she simply says 'because I love you.' I can't listen to this song without tears forming. Sometimes, people are just meant to be together.
