Its a style of stripped back bike, bobbed fenders like the hair cut is what the name is credited as coming from. Thought I would ache more but so far not to bad, have to get a move on and pick trailer up before D starts work.

So car back on lift, started to strip it down to get at the leak. Have a problem with a spinning rivnut and had to kneel to get at the back of it, when I stood (with difficulty) my right knee gave out so came back home to rest it. No fun climbing 3 flights of stairs keeping right knee straight.

From many years of kneeling on rocks to pan gold, I have had similar problems. I went to the hardware store and bought a nice comfy pair of kneepads. They come in handy anytime I need to kneel for any length of time, like scrubbing the bathtub.

Off to the pub for lunch with mum ,aunt and uncle. 70 trips round the sun, what a blast!!
 Knee better, just needed a rest. Its a recurring thing caused by (I think) a duff Achilles tendon since I was in my 20s, puts my whole ankle/leg/hip out at times but doing standing on tip toe exercise helps. One of the bones in my foot is out of place, you can see feel it. Having a right lazy morning, shower and get ready to go out in a bit.   

Nice food at the pub, had a steak pie with veg followed by a lemon meringue sundae and 1/2 pint of Butty Bach. Nice beer from local Wye brewery, we were there for over 3 hrs chatting to the staff as well.
 Saw my daughter and grandkids going for a walk with the ex up to the common as I drove up the estate to take mum home, they have a puppy. Poodle cross of some sort, that will be a hand full then !!
 Eldest called in, he is busy on with the plumbing business and with the band and if things turn out they have good things ahead. He said I didnt know what to get you and I said I have everything bar money, thats good cos thats what you got!
 Wet and windy today, off down the workshop when I get going to do battle with the rivnuts------

Well I am cross with the UK high court ruling that there are only 2 sexes in law, so called female rights groups bringing the action and makes me wonder how much interference was made in that decision from the government?  I think there has been zero instances of a genuine M to F causing any trouble in female spaces ,its a fake perceived problem from a few nutters like JK Rowling .
 On lighter news I didnt get misgendered  at all over the weekend of the bike and car show!!

Well turns out it was a bit of a non event, all the judgment did was define "sex" in the law as biological sex. That is according to a posting on Gender UK site.
 Toss and turn night for me, duvet hanging of the side of bed this morning and I feel sleepy and brain not functioning well. No point in going down the workshop like this as will mess something up!!
 Have to book my yearly check over with the doc and need to put an ad up for my panel van. Bought a whole leg of lamb yesterday as they were on a good price for Easter, cubed it up and got 3 lots of 450g (1lb) that went in the freezer. That will be 12 plus meals when made into curries ,roasted the lower bit as well in the air fryer so will have some cold to go with a roast dinner Sat and Sun.

Trying to book my check up slot yesterday, wonders of modern tech. I slot available it said for 28th so clicked on that and then it said nothing available so looked at May ones that showed lots of slots till I clicked on them. Wil have to call in on docs now to see if it went through and if not to book in.
 I was tired all day yesterday, TBH not much better now and my brain is not working well as cant spell (thank goodness for speal chucker) . Flask and lunch made but still not feeling like venturing out. Right foot/ankle still playing me up and it has put my back out a bit.   

I hope you get back to 100% later today.

First and foremost:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!  It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday!

I am so sorry about your knees.  Mine are creaky too.  I bought a folding gardeners' bench/kneeler, and I can finally pull weeds without fear.

Hope you are feeling better.

What ever it was is shifting, mum bought me (after I said I cant afford it!) a creeper that turns into a stool for my birthday so that will help a lot.

Those are nice! I had one of those. It was usually covered with a variety of wrenches so I only used the stool. But it kept the wrenches handy.

Now that is an interesting device!

I have used a creeper to help move heavy items.  Wheels are a very useful machine.
