I accidentally bought red boxed wine for cooking instead of white. I used the last of it last week to make slow cooked short ribs. Now I know what to look for on the package so I don't make that mistake again! A box of wine easily lasts weeks when I store it in the refrigerator.
This is the 4th consecutive day with the temperature above 90. And a heat index above 100.
Yesterday I had leftover pepperoni pizza. Today I had cheese and crackers for lunch, with dried apricots and honey roasted almonds. Dinner will be steamed rice with spicy Chinese sausage.
