I saw an old car with its hood up not long ago.
What was interesting was that it did not seem to be all crammed in as modern cars are.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Got in the car to come home and it said 36.5 C, that dropped to 34C when driving. 31C in my flat now, sweating! Steak, chips (fries) and peas for  dinner, BIG bowl of ice cream in a bit.

Enjoy the ice cream!  I eat a lot of ice cream.

I haven't run the A/C in my house in years.  This year it has gotten up to 29C inside or 85f.
Instead I wear sleeveless crop tops and short shorts.  This year I've added skirts to the mix.
The last electric bill was just $47 or 34pounds sterling.

I just put a skirt and baggy T on ,nothing else! T was soaked within minutes, leather sofa not helping . More cleaning this morning, black shoe polish to go on the vinyl roof insert as that is the best.

Sounds like a shower may be just the right thing soon for you!
I need to go for my Saturday walk or hike soon.  Then I will take my shower!

Just like you Davina, I discovered the summer joys of a skirt or a dress.  Now I hate wearing the pants I have to wear most of the time!

The NYC subways are brutal in the summer, so I wear shorts into work and then change...hmmmm would anyone notice the skirt...? ::)

Just go ahead and wear the skirt.  Or a skort.  Make it plaid and perhaps they will think of it as a kilt.  Will it matter to you if they think you are wearing a skirt?

A dress on the other hand may be hard to pull off if presenting as a male!
Unless of course you tuck in the bottom of dress into pants.  Then that may work only if it is shirt dress.

Emma,

My problem is that I really like these summer dresses that come to mid thigh at most, have spaghetti straps, and looks a dress that a young lady 25 or younger would wear, not someone twenty or more years older!  Ahh, there are some niceties to youth, but I am glad I am now older and a bit wiser.

...Wise enough to know those dresses are not something age appropriate to wear out and about.  Likely need to be a size six to eight too, so the full effect of a nice figure stands out.

Now there are some nice dresses to wear though!  Yay!

Sun dress time for me, well when I am not in my working gear. Austin had a road test this afternoon, only 2 mile shakedown but it drove okay. Longer run tomorrow.
Chrissy I had a shower put on thin T and was sweating already!

I got my shower in too.  Then turned it into a lavender bath after I was cleaned up.
Made sure I was hairless on my legs so they would look their best in a dress later today.
I want to look a nice as I can.
