I think under medicare I could go directly to a endocrinologist, without a referral. Just that with a MD referral, there is more of a guarantee that medicare would pay their 80%. Without a referral, the VA will not pay. The question is, Klinefelter syndrome is classed under intersex, does that mean VA will not cover it.
my urologist stated she knew another urologist that knew about Klinefelter syndrome, but first we must take care of the bladder stone. I'm now on my third week past removal of the bladder stone, and wondering if this was the proverbial dangling of the carrot to get what she wanted.
The same as my provider in the local clinic. Before we do anything else, we need you on a statin to control your cholesterol. When it gets put into the risk calculation how many years since quitting smoking, and it shows 22%, almost a guarantee that I will never be given HRT. And I am looking at the possibility that the statin will push my lowered testosterone off the bottom of range.
