My ex went to college and got a degree in Automotive Technology. She is now a certified mechanic. I was surprised to see that half of her class was women.

Times are changing. I have worked with women electricians, plumbers, and welders. When I taught the electricians' apprenticeship program, I had four women in my classes out of 12 apprentices.

Another day at home waiting for that storm to pass, we just get the tail end of it so windy and a bit of rain. Washed my hair, changed bed and all before 10am. I will be climbing the walls later!!
 Made a "omelette" yesterday using some of that dry veg curry chopped up fine and thrown in the fry pan, 2 eggs broken in and a quick stir. made a nice sandwich filling. Still have 2 eggs that need using up so might do the same today. I could do with some shorts for this weekend ,only ones I have are blue with white polka dots and are a bit short up legs. Skirts I could take but they are all flowery patterns, will have to look in the clothes shop on Wed on the way to food shop.

My friends I am following to the hot rod show rang last night, they did say 9am start but have now changed this to 7am!! Will have to get up at 5 then to get ready and drive to there's , I will be happier to follow them as I dont trust my sat nav. Off shopping in a bit then its load everything into the Austin apart from clothes bag and cool box. Catch up with you all Monday, stay safe XXX

There might be a few Got a pair of denim shorts ,just fit but a bit of muffin top happens. Austin loaded, think I could do with a small trailer as it looks a bit low. Teardrop camping one would be better, will look out for an old chassis. Anyway crashed out now after going up and down the stairs 5 times.

Got back yesterday at 6.30pm, tired and sunburnt! Had a smashing time, we all went out to a small Italian place and had very nice food. My meatball starter was enough for a main! so good job I got seabass fillets for the main, lemon sorbet with limoncello liquor to finish, you could feel the alcohol in that!
  Took the Austin up to the show field and everyone I spoke to loved it, best thing I have done for ages and had a whale of a time with my friends from the hot rod club as we all pitched up together in front of the stately home. Not far to walk to the nice facilities and not far from the show field with the stage, NHRA tent and special displays were.
