Don't worry too much about 1 pound. A pint of water weighs one pound, so you could gain or lose two pounds in a single day. Watch how your weight changes over a week to see which direction you are headed.

Relax and have a good time.  🙂

had a bit of a afternoon of it, trailer lamps not working on the Austin. Was some drama , had to go to workshop, D was just taking a car for test, batteries flat in meter and I left my bag at home, got some on tick from over the road, found no feed to plug in wiring loom that worked before so did a quick fix and put trailer socket wires to rear lamps. All working now and ready to go in morning but it was a rush to do stuff and make a Dorset apple cake to take , tray bake so need to slice it when its cold. Exhausted now and have to be up at 5.30 to get ready, its just gone 8 pm now.

Still have cake left over, only Nick ate some and said it went well with red wine! Drama on the way down as a bolt fell out exhaust flange and the other one came loose, managed to fix it at the track. Then after the caravan was parked out side on Thurs night it rained and I found sleeping bag was soaked when we got there. Hung it on the bonnet of the Austin and between the sun and wind it was dry for that night, its the rear windows on caravan leaking. I was going to renew the seals but I needed someone to hold them in place as you have to string in from outside. We left the track at 1.30 and I was home for 4, more drama on the way back as got to Coventry and wipers packed up. I followed Nicks trailer, it got a bit iffy when we got to the M42 as it was biblical rain but I could see the road markings okay. Anyways we had a good time, got complimented on my new look and we also saw a UK record run from a fuel altered @ 5.8 sec 218mph. Lots of nice cars there, met folks we knew, barbeque at night sat around talking. Got a bit chill at night so we all went to bed to get warm!

Glad that overall it went well and you had a good time.

A wet sleeping bag can be miserable. I think Mother Nature was admiring your caravan and telling you, "Look, you missed a spot." 😄

Its a winter job to fix the leak, can't see me using it till next year now. 2 loads of washing done, still have bed sheets to wash but no room on clothes dryer. Having a crash out now and drinking lots of green tea!

Still exhausted from the weekend, right foot was bad this morning as I could hardly put any weight on it. Did my stand on tip toe lift exercise and it all clicked back into place still aches though. Off to swop the Austin for the daily driver this morning, ordered a car cover for the Austin as it will be sat outside for the winter. What to cook for dinner?? I have 1 & 1/2 chicken breasts ,broccoli ,beans, baby sweetcorn, and carrots so might make a pie but that is a faff so it might just be a "roast".
