Hi Gracie.  I thought Batgirl was cooler than batman.  The difference with me is I never pretended to think otherwise though.  I didn't really think about it too much.  I guess you are now officially part of Susans.

Hi again Gracie!

Your details are definately not "inconsequential." :) Thank you for opening your life to us. I think it really helps many of us to read bits & pieces of ourselves in other's stories like yours. I know it's tough sometimes to bare your soul like that, but I really do appreciate it.

Welcome!

Hi Gracie,

Welcome to Susan's.  Many things you mentioned in your intro I can certainly relate to.  It really helps knowing I am not the only one who has experienced similar circumstances in life.  Thanks for sharing these with us.

Welcome, Gracie!  Thanks for sharing your story with us.  I was convinced I was "just" a CD'r too, till my eyes were opened last July.  Susan's is a great place to help find these things out, isn't it?

I've really enjoyed reading your previous posts and am looking forward to reading many more.

again, WELCOME!

I thought I was a crossdresser for about 2 weeks after I came out of denial.  A little research about the differences helped me clarify that I was transsexual.  Now they appear as different as night and day to me and I don't know how I ever missed the difference.  Plus I was still sort of in denial and hadn't yet accepted my fate.

Hi Gracie,

>Ok.. I swear I'm done.   Nice to meet you all.

>Gracie

LOL.  No, Gracie, you're not done.  You're just beginning.

Welcome to the next phase of the journey.

Hopefully, you can bring your wife with you on this life trip.  Just remember the little piece of wisdom that's been posted on the Ingersoll Gender Center meeting board for over 25 years:  "Rush slowly."

On your journey, you are #1.  In your wife's journey, she is #1.  So long as you both realize that ypu are each #1 and you give her the time she needs to absorb each change, there is a good chance it can all work.

Hugs

Robyn

Yes, nice intro!

Considering you wrote this before I joined...  it seems strange to say welcome.  So, rather than welcome, I'll say hi!

Well my choice in the 50s was between Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans and I felt more like Dale.
