It's funny.  I was born in the Pacific Northwest,  Lived for many years in Michigan,  and now I'm back in Oregon.   Most of my answers said that they were common in the Great Lakes region.

Kinda odd for someone who was raised in the South and then spent 18 more years there as an adult. But, always felt more comfortable around where I am now. Was always told when I did live in the South as an adult -- "Nichole, you sound and act like such a Yankee!"

My maternal grand parents and 3 generations prior were from the South.  My mom was born in California but she was exposed to a lot of Southern dialect and passed some of it on to me it appears.

Born and raised in California where my parents were also born and raised...  And one set of grandparents as well.  But my dad's parents are from Texas and Oklahoma, so I guess that's where I got it.
