I'm still new here, and new to this whole experience. My gf and I are planning to go down to the GLBT center in Baltimore, MD to gather information and to check the dates of the gender identity meetings.

Anyway, this will be a fairly open ended question...What's it like going through this? I mean...I know all the psychological aspects of it, trust me, I've already got that part down pact. But what about everything else?

How do you tell your family? What does your body go through when you start T? How do you legally change everything around?

I'm only asking because I don't want to look like a fool when I go to a meeting because I don't know anything    ???

Thanks in advance for any remarks   ;D

Go to The Transitional Male website and there are lots of links there that will take you to the answers.  Guys on here can answer the T question better than I can (not on T - yet!  Letter in hand though).

There are guides to coming out etc.

Each case is different as we all live in varied locales, and our families are different etc as to how they react.

I'm partly out to family, partly out to online friends, and plan to come out fully after my hysto and after I've been on T a while.  Coming out at work is still up in the air.
