How do you spend your free-time?

More or less, a question has entered my mind. I could say I was wondering how do some of you "escape" your daily worries? How do you spend your free-time? I personally send it playing Video Games or "watching" YouTube. Halo 3, Soul Calibur 4, Lost Oddossy, ect. Okay enough from me, what about you all?

Heh, browsing this forum a lot lately  :embarrassed:

The answer should be writing/practising songs, getting some exercise and the occasional word game on facebook.

OMG! There are places or people that give time away? I simply cannot find myself grasping at this concept that you label as "free time". Must be only "free to a good home" as that would explain why I never have any.

"Free time"??????????

BAW HAW HA ha ha! Was'zat?

I work full time and since I returned to competitive figure skating 2 years ago the idea of "free time" is a myth!

Most of my "free time" is spent doing domestic type stuffs but when i have time
to think-- walks in the woods
to veg-out--watch anime
to relax-- play with my 3 cats
It seems like transition, dealing with coming out, etc.. has pretty much eliminated most of my free time as of late.

What I've been doing with my spare time lately, is looking for a job!

I am retired with a god income so all my time is free.

I stay healthy, walk in the nearby national park, cook meals from scratch, read for hours, take a hot bath every night, keep the house neat, play on the net to take breaks, sometimes go to plays, spend time at the library, go to the store once a week but I prefer the farmers market.

At the dentist the girl asked what my plans were for the day I could not answer. My friend told me on the phone he answers that question with "I have to ask my wife, I may have plans, but I do not know."

Hi Carolyn,
I seem to have a lot of "free time" these days while I'm looking for work. I typically spend a lot of time on the computer trying to be constructive. I've been looking for a job, updating resume, doing cover letters, reading forums, chatting, etc., etc. I walk in the morning and I did yoga with my friend the other day and I really enjoyed that. I love stretching and exercising. It helps relax me.

I used to play a lot of video games, X Box 360. I would play and play and play and use it to avoid my life basically. I realize now that it was the perfect avoidance tool for me. I was concentrating on winning games and achieving pointless objectives. I played alot right before transition and I kind of have this bad taste in my mouth about video games. I'm just speaking for my own personal experience of course. I think it's easy to start playing then next thing you know you are just playing all the time. The important things in your life seem to take a backseat to videogames. That's kind of where I was before.

Now, at the end of the day, when I'm laying in bed and I review my day and put it in perspective, I generally feel pretty good about my days. I never really thought about it before, a few years ago, but life just seems so precious now. I don't want to "waste" a day or let a day go by where I'm not appreciative of it. I know some people can do that by playing video games, but as I've matured, it's just been something that I can't take too much time doing.

I really like good conversation too, that's always fun to pass the time :) Meghan

I keep praying for a million dollars. Why you never answer me?

I've been shooting boys in Call of Duty 4.  Again.

You know the praying part will get you nowhere unless you take action.

So you are saying that I need to go and buy a lottery ticket and that I will win. Cool, thanks!
