I'm looking into purchasing a binder within the next year or so, and I'm quite clueless. I thought it would be quite helpful to other guys wanting to get a binder, if those of you who have purchased binders, could give us a rundown on how each worked? Something along the lines of:

Bra size:
Binder size:
Binder model:
Picture of the binder [if possible]:
Location bought:
Price:
How long it lasted before it stopped binding well:
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
Other comments:

Thanks a million guys. :)

I got the tritop from Underworks. Size large. Think it was around $30. It worked pretty well. Had to stop using it though, so didn't use it long enough or have any other binders to compare it to to notice any particular advantages or disadvantages.

Well, I do not have an official binder. But I'll talk about what I do in terms of home made techniques.

Bra size: I'm an A cup.

For A cup people, a binder, in my opinion, is almost unnecessary. I use tank tops. In these pictures, I have a gray tank that I got at the Gap in the women's section over a black tank with a build in strapless bra portion in it. I got that one in the girl's section, I think. Maybe women's. Stuff that is built for my body (which, I can no longer deny it, is female) seems to work better. In reality, my chest is more pointy than in is big, so the size is not being greatly reduced. It's just smoothing it down so it doesn't poke out and making "bumps."

Frack, just look at that figure. Ugh, lol. Oh, I lowered my pants a little so the tank top was easier to see. I usually tuck it in. Sorry about the nippleage if that offends anyone.  :icon_blah:

As you can probably tell, it isn't 100% effective. However, it does look better with a t-shirt over it.
You'll want to use a binder if looking perfectly flat is you're priority. This, however, is a lot more comfortable.

Another technique, of which I have no pictures of, is taking a pair of pantyhose and cutting a hole in the crotch for your head. Cut the legs off for sleeves. It works pretty well, but I found that it made me sweat a lot.

I used a T-Kingdom 1800 (?), size XL, but I added more velcro as it was too large.  It cost about $60, was comfortable enough to wear for extended hours (18 or so easily).  I was quite large, somewhere between a DD-E.

I think that works pretty well, Dan. Can't even tell you're wearing anything underneath and guys nipples sometimes show through too. Pretty good technique for small chested guys.

As for the pantyhose thing, tried that before, but couldn't get the thing over my shoulders.

Bra size: no idea but I am 100cm in the chest above the cleavage furrow and when standing, my lumps stick out 9cm from my chest.
Binder size: M
Binder model: Underworks doublepanel compression tank
Picture of the binder [if possible]:

Location bought: online
Price:$36 (got the 3 pack for $85)
Advantages: long enough to tuck into pants and also flattens the beer belly if you have one
Disadvantages: tends to roll up and wears out in about 3 months

Great thread!

Bra size: 32 AA I think.
Binder size: S
Binder model: Underworks Tri-top
Location bought: online
Price:$36 (got the 3 pack for $85)
Advantages: flat binding, comes in black or white
Disadvantages: kind of comes up high near the neck, but can be covered by undershirt.  HARD to get on the first few times

I have a couple of 'em

Bra size: 34-36 B, never quite figured it out
Binder size: Small
Binder Model: Underworks Double Front Compression Shirt
Location bought: Online
Price:  34?  Somewhere in that area, shipping included.
Advantages:  I was completely flat after putting it on.
Disadvantages:  Rolled up a lot, and tends to bring my boxers with it.  Talk about a wedgie.  Also wore out pretty fast.  Within a month of use it was just like wearing a tight sports bra.

Binder Model:  Underworks Extra Power Compression Vest (Double Layer)
Location bought: Online
Price:  I used a 10% off coupon so around 34 again.
Advantages:  Binds REALLY FREAKIN GOOD.  Like a corset only it smashes instead of lifting.
Disadvantages:  The little hooks are pretty annoying, and the top latching part tends to stick out really bad against cloths, never tried to layer a tank or anything over it, so don't know if it can be held down.

Binder Model:  Underworks Tri-top
Location bought:  Online
Price:  34ish again
Advantages:  Makes me completely flat (Okay, it looks like I have nice pecs, but still) and it doesn't roll up a lot.
Disadvantages:  I got stuck trying to get out of it a couple of times and needed my mom to help me.  I also had to modify slightly at the underarms because it made my left arm numb, but it was an easy fix.

I love the Tri-top the most out of all of them.  You just have to be a little flexible if you live alone.

Bra size: 34B
Binder size: Large
Binder model: T-Kingdom 980 Long "Tshirt"
Picture of the binder [if possible]:
Location bought: T-Kingdom
Price: $40 (WITH shipping included already)
Advantages: My chest looks like a muscular dude's chest :) I want to be muscular. So I like it. Second advantage: It looks like a tank top like they say, so I just look like a regular layering guy.
Disadvantages: Where do my boobs disappear to? Out the sides of the binder, where the arm holes are. Also, shipping takes approximately 10 days, including weekends, so if you're in a rush to get the binder well....
Other comments: I have mixed feelings about my binder. I love it to death and it doesn't make me feel like I'm dying (breathing and muscle tissue-wise), and I love the way it proportions my body. But sometimes I wonder if I should exchange it for the Medium, or if T-Kingdom recommended size by breast measurements for a very good reason...

Bra size: 36 D
Binder size: medium
Binder model: tri-top from underworks
Picture of the binder [if possible]:

Location bought: online @ underworks
Price: $35ish
Advantages: binds well, not too expensive, triple layered, fast shipping, not overseas (if youre in the US), hides well under clothing
Disadvantages: rolls up and accentuates curves, hot, hard to get into, wears out

Only been binding a few weeks, and only just got the last one and worn one day

Bra size: 38-40 DD possibly DDD  has been difficult to find one that fits

Second Binder (about 2-3 weeks)
Binder Size: Large
Binder Model: Underworks Double Compression Shirt
Location:  Online
Price: about 36 I think not including shipping
Advantages:  Binds real well, if I was a few sizes smaller probably would be un-notacable
Disadvantages: Curls up and can cut into sides.  Had to trim mine and still does that.  If large enough hips can make it impossible to keep down.

First Binder (about 2 days)
Binder Size: Large
Binder Model: Underworks Tri-top
Location:  Online
Price: about 39 I think not including shipping
Advantages:  Very good binding, looks not flat for me but like muscle pecks sorta.  Little curling at bottom.
Disadvantages: Arm holes cut into underarms, skin and such gets pushed out of the holes which don;t look that great (i need to loose some weight lol).   Have had some back pain wearing it.  Thinking might be slightly to small but can't return.  Oh and barely wants to go all way down over breasts.
Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

Holy cow. That's pretty amazing, Chett. Love those pants/shorts.

Any opinions on using Under Armour brand compression shirts?

I am smaller chested, suspect I'm about a B cup ?

Typically I have just always layered, but summers suck as usual. I have some cheap sports bra thing, although I feel like it doesn't do much.

Could be my self-consciousness though.  :-\

I'm a B cup and a sports bra...lets just say doesn't do much for me. So I'm sure you're not just being self conscious. I can't help you on the under armour thing though.

What, am I the only guy who uses T-Kingdom?! Oh no wait, mister does too. Wow at the underworks popularity.

Yep, layering is what I do. If I was a B, I'd probably bind.

Sports bras really don't do much. All the compression is in the elastic. I recently bought a girl's medium (yeah, talk about small) tank top. It's really stretchy and tied things down a bit. It really does act like a compression shirt. Those are costly, though.  :P

actually, i convinced my mom to order me one from t kingdom.  i ordered the best rated for compression on their site.  its a definite plus that its long enough to be tcked into pants.  im looking for a more straight up and down look since the one i have nowmashes in my middle.  when i get it i'll make another review.  thanks dan about the pants.  yay walmart!!!

Jesus christ I don't have that kind of money right now!! Hope it works for you though :) And the tuck in is DEFINITELY a plus. It always rolls up when I forget to tuck it into my pants so I try not to forget  Tucking it in works though.

Oooh. I like this one.

And considering most people who use these have big chests, they should work on me effortlessly. But I'm saving my money right now. I'm probably gonna get a good packer before I get a compression shirt of any kind.

When I get to my house on Monday, I'll take pictures of my binder so you guys can see the tri-top (perhaps my black ones came in the mail!)

Would yall like both shirtless and not? I was thinking I'd put on different types of shirts to show. ex. button up, tshirt, polo, ect.
