I was sitting in my dorm room, on the phone with my mother, when I heard my name out in the hall. I pulled the phone away from my ear and proceeded to crack up inwardly at what I heard (I'm typing this on my cell, so I apologize for the lack of line breaks)...Twenty-something guy: Wait, so, Michael...is that actually a guy? Freshman girl: (perplexed by the question) Um, YES? I guess he's like an RA or something. Twenty-something guy: Ohhh...hah, like three in the morning, he'll knock on your door and be like, (lecherously) "Just wanted to...see if you're okay." Freshman girl: Nooo! (laughs)..um, endquote. So yeah, neither of them have ever seen me, and I wanted to yell, "Don't worry, I like boys!" through the door, but thought better of it. We're having a floor meeting tomorrow night and I'm wondering what to say when I introduce myself. Should I come out? What do you guys think? My RA's really nice, by the way. She knows I'm trans, and she called me "she" at first, but I corrected her and she was fine w/ it.
