I have the compression shirts from underworks that are double layer. I like them and they compress well. I usually wear them inside out so the cotton is next to my skin, because I wear a tee shirt over it. I also have a compression muscle shirt I like.
Jay, I am big, too, and I'm allergic to synthetic fabrics. I was thinking that, best case, maybe I could bind over a snug cotton t-shirt. But what you said about turning the binder inside out seems promising, so now I'm thinking of trying one of the binders you talked about. Can you provide further info?
I went to the Underworks site and found the following:
Cotton Concealer Compression Muscle Shirt (style 974)
Cotton Concealer Compression Tank (style 973)
Cotton Concealer Compression V-Neck T-Shirt (style 978)
Is this one of the ones you're talking about?
I was messing around with an improvised binder (large bandage) today at home, and I figure I might not look too bad if I wear dark colors and layer a bit. Now that I'm older, my boobs are getting droopier. They look terrible under shirts--embarrassing--but maybe I can take advantage of the droopiness.
At this point, I would even wear a bra if I could, just to look like a normal person of ANY gender--since I can't really pass anyway--but I haven't found a bra yet that doesn't have synthetic fibers, so that isn't even an option. Therefore, I walk around with these droopy cannonballs on my chest and I really HATE them.
Anyway, further info would make me really happy, Jay.
