I'll be frank: I don't get it.

When I left the Pentecostal church I was raised in those many years, I may not have walked away with a strong belief in Christ, but I did walk away with a knowledge of what the Bible said about how to treat others (that is, to treat others like you'd like to be treated), how to think about and act towards oppressed and poor people, and I learned that judging those who were different from me was an unwise practice.

So, I don't get why people at Focus On The Family go out of their way to devise unkind and disrespectful means to articulate their thoughts on trans people of all stripes.
