Last night I had my very first Laser session with a local Dr. I was supposed to start last month but, her equip had a failed part and turned out not to be repairable. So, I needed to wait for a new Laser unit to be installed, which happened last week, FINALLY! To say it hurts to get zapped by one of these things is an understatement at best. It hurts like hell! It feels like a hot needle penetrating each folicle. But, I am not complaining. I know everyone here who has been through this knows what I am talking about and has suffered through the same pain. IT IS WORTH IT!! My wife was with me for moral support and watched the whole process. What a great lady!

I thought I was feeling really on my way when I started hormones four months ago. No, I think this is as much a meaningful feeling in transitioning as starting hormones was. This is finally something to really see on the outside as a huge change in appearance. I guess each progressive step along the way will have as much of a meaningful feeling too! Also, it will be so nice to not have to use so much makeup.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share.

Flan,

Yeah, she applied lidocain. But, maybe I don't have as high a pain threshold as I first believed! :( In any case, I ain't stopping for nothin'. It will be worth it! She did say that the pain is typically less on successive sessions. I dunno though, maybe these laser techs have a secret sadistic side to them, lol  >:D.
