We have a new arrival in Atlanta.  Lun Lun, the giant panda, had a cub Saturday night.  Here's the zoo's panda cam.

Hi Janet it appears our prayers have been answered, so far the winds have abated down to 80mph and only minimal damage where the ocean waves overtopping the levee's  in an industrial area and some backwash from the winds blowing the ocean water back up the mouth of the Mississippi.

Thanks for sending the prayers.

Yay,

I went out to the movies last night as Alice, the first time I got ready to go out for such a time. I met my two friends Abbey and Hana there (both in boy mode) but I was determined to go out as Alice.

I am working on my makeup so I do not need to put a lot on. I am hoping this leads to a more natual look and quicker time to get ready (it took me 50 mins last night). With my hair removal on my face it certainly makes that process easier. I am also starting to look at the way in the hope that I can start to walk in a more feminine name.

Gi Alice, I am happy for you that you are progressing this well along your transtitioning. I admire your determination and courage.

Well I am happy to say that Wing Walker and I have spent a quiet holiday weekend at home for a change. Going out for Tim Horton's coffee and getting the girls to laugh was the highlight of the day.

I was told today that I'd be staying with my boyfriend during the weekend I guess my aunt and uncle think Me and my cousin Amanda are going to throw a wild party while they go on their business trip.I'm happy because they knew I'd agree to stay and they asked Greg before telling me what was going to happen.I'll be sleeping in his king sized bed with him but if it's too much of a hassle he said he'd sleep on the couch. He says we will be able to go on our official first date on Saturday to dinner and a movie and it makes me feel happy to spend more time with him and hopefully get some memories back of him. I'll have to take a note pad to talk to him while I stay and I can't wait for the weekend to start. I'm feeling happy and a little nervous about going out in public but he says I look like a girl and shouldn't be so nervous. I hope it goes well for us.^_^

Something wonderful today?

Reading and loving the words Sherue just posted above. What a great post!! Everything will be fine, dear. It cannot miss; there's happiness all around you! :) Just keep on finding it. :)

For myself? My son as he trudged down to the bus-stop for school shouting "I love you, Mom!" That will make any day a happy one.

Hi Nichole that kind of experience comes around only once in your life unless you are fortunate enough to have kids around the house again after your son decides it's time to go to college or something. Well I never got to experience being called a mom but I had 11 children go under my roof through the years and I loved it, I love children and if the opportunity to have another one in my care I wouldn't hesitate asking where the doted line is to sign. Anyway I feel happy for you. We have TS  here who is councilor here, she  has her 13 year old daughter living with her, heck I'm proud for her. ;D

Have a wonderful day

It took me three years but I'm finally going to college. First class starts today. The only down side to this is that I'm going as Michael.

Over then weekend my boy friend took me out on a date to a movie and a restraunt. I was nervous and scared until I noticed people calling me ma'am or miss. I live in a intolerant town and have seen how people treat homosexuals in public but they didn't notice I was a boy. The waitress even commented saying she thought we looked like a cute couple together and my boyfriend is really sweet to take his girl out in a wheel chair. I never took hormones before so I was scared people would know about my secret but I guess I should have listened to Greg saying I'm beautiful because I'm very lucky to be passable with out hormones while others don't. I guess I was being too hard on myself before but after that night I have a boost of confidence about my looks now.^_^

my new roomate "Sarah" who is also TG (m2F) is finally all moved in and it's so awesome to have someone else here who is going through all of the same stuff we all are. I finally have someone, who has really become a sister, that can be there for me and I for her!!! :)

I saw a friend that I hadn't seen for almost a year. Somehow even though we don't talk for months, every time we see each other, it's completely comfortable, as if we had just seen each other yesterday. There's just more to talk about and catch up on. I wish I had more people around me like this.

I just had the coolest thing happen to me at the store. I was ringing up my stuff and thanks to whoever forgot to update the prices, I was short on money. Well, this really, really sweet older lady who I never met before in my life paid for my purchases. I declined the offer at first but she insisted so I went with it. Some people may have seen that as an insult (I don't know), but hey...when you are beyond broke and I mean BROKE (I was grocery shopping with $4), I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. She was all like "no, I will pay for her stuff, etc.  :) The funny thing is I seem to be passing so much I don't even react to it anymore.  :D I was more in a state of shock about a total stranger doing something so nice for me. I guess there are some good people in the world after all.
