Would It Be A Dog's Life?

If I could I would sometimes wish to carrying him off in the car and leave him somewhere far away. But I can't. The love-sponge has licked and wagged his way deeply into my heart, the hearts of Catherine and the boys.

Thus, even though he perpetually allows his love of food to lead him where he shouldn't go; even though he tries to escape so his sight-hound leagacy can run free and fast all over the countryside; even though he thinks of himself, at sixty pounds, a lap dog and keep scratches perpetually on my thighs and knees, even though he's managed to put a hole in the wall by barreling into the front door and smashing it through the sheetrock; even though he got expelled for life from the doggy-daycare ... even though there are twenty other reasons I could place on this page ... even though....
