A half-step forward

We've made a half step forward this week - I have a job!  ;D

The half-step comes from the fact that while I am now employed, it's a 1 yr contract only so there isn't a guarantee of the job continuing beyond that, which means we can't move out yet :/ However, we *can* bankroll money now for a house down-payment, so that's a good thing.

The job is also second shift (3pm-11pm), which means Dani and I will be working opposite shifts.  :icon_sad: However, the job is very good career-wise for me, which is good. I'll be doing Windows system administration, which is totally what I want to do and will make getting another job later easier.

The only bad thing is that I won't be able to make this month's therapy appointment because it's at 3pm and I will be at work by then. *sigh* I was all excited to go too. Ah, well. Dani says she'll try making the next one early in the day so I can go. I'll need to get her my schedule to her soon.

Overall, we're moving forward :)

That sounds great.  Every step forward is a step well taken.
