Hi Carli,

Welcome to our little family. Over  2089 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.

It is hard to tell from this angle.  Can we get a face on shot to better tell?

Thanks

Haha you're gorgeous! I have no criticism, no advice, just admiration.

Take a picture from a more level angle, if you want a serious critique.

I just have one question... how on earth did you ever pass as anyone other than a very pretty girl?

Your eyes are beautiful.
Natura nihil frustra facit.

"You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection." ~ Buddha.

If you're dealing with self esteem issues, maybe click here. There may be something you find useful. :)
Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

Much better, Carli.

You have pretty eyes.

Have your brows done professionally.  And maybe some curl in the hair?

And quite pouting.  Think of something naughty then smile.

You look way better than me. Looks like you won't have to even bother with ffs. Of course, I can't really get a clue about your bone structure in a frontal image. Not like it really matters, as it seems you have a very lenient bone structure.

When I posted my dog ->-bleeped-<-, ugly before images on different forums, the general consensus was that I probably wouldn't need ffs, but still could use it -- especially after I got better at taking images. It seems my worst features were my pile of crap brow bossing, and my piss ass nose. You don't look like you have those problems.

you wouldn't need surgery if a dog shat on your face, you'd need a bath.

I didn't mean dog ->-bleeped-<- as in a actual dog taking a giant ->-bleeped-<- on my face. I meant dog ->-bleeped-<- as in something that is sub par.

Don't even bother to flatter me. You haven't even seen my image.

It is difficult to determine from your photos.  One thing FFS surgeons request are a set of photos with the hair pulled back in a ponytail.  The photos then are level full frontal, three quarters, profile and then the same photos taken from slightly above and slightly below.

You look fantastic in your photos but you are doing some things that people learn to do to make their faces look more feminine.  You are pursing your lips to make them look fuller, your head is canted down but looking up in order to cause your chin to look smaller and your eyes to look larger.  I did the same kinds of things myself.

If you really want an honest opinion and you would prefer to save yourself years of false hopes (based on advice or criticisms that while being honest are from people who really can't say given the evidence or the pictures you have provided) then I would suggest meeting with a FFS doctor and see what she or he has to say, get an evaluation.  Often there are "Gender" conferences that take place across the country where you can meet with a FFS doctor and get an evaluation for free.  Otherwise you would want to contact a doctor who does FFS and find out what kind of photos he wants to see, send him the photos and find out what he suggests.  Also get more than one opinion, some FFS Doctors make a habit of prescribing "the works" to everyone and while I understand that getting "the works" ensures more success in passing as female (if things work out) some of use for various reasons cannot have FFS right now so there is a danger of being told you need a lot of work when the truth might be that you can get by without it.

I seemed to be able to get by without FFS for a while but it appears that something changed, maybe it is getting older, loosing some of the facial fat... I don't know but in your photos you look incredible and quite pretty.  It is just that your photos are not the kinds of photos for making a serious evaluation, for that we need something that more resembles prison photos or a passport photo.

I'm one of the ones who told Je she could use the brow surgery.  I think the same might be true in this case.  Profile shot?

Yes, one of those who thinks I'm some kind of sadist, and therefore believes I would be tickled to death to do surgery. I mean for frigging sakes, it seems something about me made you think I just love to travel, love to pay tons of money, and just absolutely frigging love the complications and the recovery. Then again, I don't think that you thought I absolutely needed ffs because I don't think any of the opinions I got -- which were enough to write a book on -- insisted that I actually needed it. I got about three different opinions in three different forums, not to mention the countless private messages in those forums as well.

Anyways, I'll probably end up getting a rhinoplasty. I haven't even hit the 1 month mark on hormones; so, I got some time to do until I should even give that any serious thought.
