I wasn't sure if this is where I should post this but...

I was wondering if anybody still has their stuffed animals from when they were younger. I'd especially like to know if anyone still sleeps with them. I used to have a little pink dragon that I would sleep with but it's been store away in the basement and I can't find him. 

I'd really like to find him and bring him back up, but I'm not sure I should. I'm worried about what my family with think if they find me with it. (probably hugging it) 

I still have some of my soft toys from my childhood, most of them are in boxes, though, some are on the side. I will always keep them.

I used to collect teddy bears so I have a whole bunch of stuffed animals. I stopped sleeping with them sometime in the middle of high school, but now I do sleep with one, the one my girlfriend gave me.

I used to sleep with a pretty green dragon and a cute white colored dog that my grandparents got from Alaska when I was a kid. I still have the dog, but unfortunately I don't know what happened to the dragon.

Most of mine are all gone now.  To Goodwill to spread the joy.  But I bought a body pillow and I cuddle up to it for now.  If and when I have someone in my life, I will cuddle up to them.

They are like childhood friends

I have a foam lamb i called Lambchop, hes completely broken now but i love him. Also had a new teddy made recently at build a bear, i love sending them to friends.

I had an elephant when I was very young. I don't remember it, but my mother told me about it. But it was gone by the time I was 7 or 8. Don't know if I gave it up or my parents took it away from me.

However, I have acquired a few since becoming a nominal adult: a cat, a raccoon and a lion. I got the cat for myself, maybe 30 years ago. The others were gifts from my neice & nephew.

They live on my bed. I often find my real cat (who I adopted long after the stuffed one) curled up with them.

I do remember a stuffed wolf that was about three feet high.  His name was "Wolfy".  Well duh, i was a young girl at the time.  Ah, boy.  Ah girl in a boy's skin.

The name for my little stuffed dragon was similar. It's name was Dragy (Please don't poke fun...).

 I have a huge dog I got for a cross country trip I went on 6 years ago. I drove a monster Blazer towing a jet boat. The dog rode in the boat drivers seat the whole way unless it was raining. i don`t sleep with it but refused to give it to good will when my wife wanted to.

No one with any sense makes fun of a dragon -- even a little one. Little dragons grow up to be big dragons. And they have long memories!

I don't. But I know someone on here sleeps with a teddy.

Used to have a 3foot tall black bear stuffed animal as a child that I played with alot named shock. I don't sleep with him anymore but now days he sits in my closet and guards my estrgoen from unwanted atention . My mom also recently came back from a huge sciencetific expo get togther for science teachers and she brought back a plushe bacteriophage since she knows im into microbiology. Phagey now sits on my desk above my computer 

No one was around but me, so I went searched the basement for my old stuffed animal just now. But I couldn't find it... I'm worried that it may have been thrown out or given away. I'm not sure whether to be sad or angry.  Now what am I going to do?

aww. i hope you find it hon. *big nero hug*

i still have a lot of stuffed animals and when i just need something to hold, hug and cuddle with i will get the one my dad got for me when i had surgery. as a matter of fact i took it with me to the hospital when i had my last baby just last month(10-31)

I used to have loads as a kid, and i've still got a lot of them.  (My mum made me get rid of loads when i left home though  ).

I've always slept with them, except when i was first dating my first girlfriend, cos i was too embarassed!  Don't think i ever grew up.

As Rupert would say... He's my "bestest friend in the whole wide world."  He is always there for me when I need him.  He has never let me down, and we tell each other everything.  I don't know what I would do without him.  Silly really but...

Oh yes... Rupert's my bear.
