I feel kind of weird about making more than one post in this forum in one day, but I'm going to do it anyway. >_<

Ok, so I've been binding for a long time, and when I'm not wearing a binder, I'm usually in a sports bra several sizes too small. Lately, though, I've been having a lot of pain even just from the bra, so I've been going without wearing anything. At first it was just at home, now it's out on walks. It's easier now because it's freezing here and raining nonstop, so I can bundle up.

I'm going to a musical tonight (Jesus Christ Superstar starring none other than Ted Neeley himself  ) and I'm going to wear a long-sleeve undershirt, a t-shirt, a scarf, and a hoodie, without a binder/bra. I feel funny about it, but I want to see how it feels. I mean, I'm going to be out of them forever one of these days--why not get into practice now?

So, do any of you guys ever go out without a binder or a bra or any kind of compression? How do you feel about it?

I haven't went without some kind of compression or bra since I was 11. In fact, I'm having difficulty recalling times I've ever slept without something.
The bouncing and feeling of 'looseness' makes me ill. I'd feel too uncomfortable without one to go anywhere. But that's just me.

I know exactly what you mean about feeling too loose, Nero. I'm probably going to have my arms crossed all night.

unless im going somewhere im free... well... not free ballin'... but you know what i mean.  ive gone out like that before.  were about the same size too i think yochanan.  in the upper body region i mean.

bras returned to being a dysphoria trigger in march... if i'm not binding it's an a-line shirt, tee shirt and dress shirt and/or jacket and/or hoodie. I've messed around with the way i "sag" the tuck of my tee and the place i belt my pants until i feel comfortable doing so.

I can barely stand not having anything on them at home let alone going out. Unfortunately I've had to start going without more and more during the evenings because my moobs have gotten so big it hurts to wear anything after a certain point in the day. *sigh*

I actually try and avoid wearing bras, they make me feel feminine. Yet another of winter's pros is that I can wear a hoodie and a coat out, so no one can tell.
I feel genuinely sorry for FTMs with large breasts for whom that's not really an option.

Well I have quite large moobs and I wear a bra during the day and a jumper (if at work)
I wear a sports bra to small so it makes them look smaller too.
If I go shopping/out at night I am in my binder. As I cant stand looking at them
.. I have a binder sorta vest thingy which isn't so restricting and I wear that if
I am wearing a hoody as you can still see the lumps otherwise.

Around the house I just wear a top and thats it!

*sigh*

I hate them being free. It feels so gross and weird. Since I made my binder I can barely bring myself to take it off to sleep. I am a DD/E though o.o it is ridiculous

I've bound every day since I was 12.  I've gone without once or twice and I just cannot stand the feeling.

I used to have a very large chest.  I did the four block walk to the surgery center without a bra or binder on because I figured they should be free one last time.

I will probably do that also.. as its free and easy and I know it will be the final time that they shall be there!

Sometimes I don't wear anything but I don't like doing that. I want at least something on. I want a binder but I don't see the day of being able to get one coming any time soon

Never step foot outside my house without binding. Unless I'm taking a shower, always at least have a slightly too small sports bra on, binder when in public/around people.

I can't bind (not out at school yet), but when I do, I get a rashy-like thing because it rubs my skin. Very painful.

if you've got cash, a rash guard helps with that. If you don't, I suspect one of those nylon tees target sells as "athletic gear" would do nicely.

For even less cash, put gold bond or baby powder on underneath your binder.

unfortunately i still have my boobs so i want them to be as healthy as possible. of course i want them taken off, but i don't want them to be taken off because i have breast cancer or some other awfulness. therefore, they are free when i'm at home; i was really anti-bra back when i was wearing them because the constriction isn't good for your lymph nodes and such...so i bind like mad when i leave the house, but otherwise i'm a freakin' hippie with free flyin' boobs....LOL. i hate them; it makes me ill just knowing they are there... but i gotta take care of what i got.

Binding is such a pain for me that I rarely do it. I figure that since I'm pre-T, people are going to see me as female anyway. But I hate the feeling of having these floppy THINGS loose on my chest.

I haven't worn a bra since I was about twenty and still living with my parents. I have a lot of allergies, among them allergies to virtually all fabrics but 100% cotton. So the minute I left my parents' house, I stopped wearing bras. I was pretty heavily into my "girl" period and I've always been into men, so I actually liked the freedom (and the male attention) until I started figuring who and what I am.

Early this year, I briefly considered going back to a bra because I couldn't stand the way my chest felt, but I still have the allergies and wasn't able to find a 100% cotton bra. I was very relieved, actually, so I don't know why I was looking for one in the first place when I should have been researching binders...well, I was deep in the closet at that point and didn't want to come out.

When I go on T and my voice starts to change, I'm going to have to decide whether to bind until my chest surgery. Gak. I want to go on T, but I really REALLY don't want to live in that in-between stage when I have a male voice and a female chest. I really do hate binding, but perhaps it will get better when I lose more weight.

I guess I have a lot of thinking to do.
