QuoteAny other ideas?
Quote from: Sarah on December 28, 2008, 09:51:45 PMActually, according to my spouse who is well knowledgeable on all things genetics; the male gene is dying out generationally in humans.Eventually there won't be any males at all and there will only be females that can reproduce and fertilize themselves.

Guys tend to oppose, girls tend to redirect, to absorb. It's that whole willow tree vs. rock deal: The rock can withstand things more solidly, but it has a definite breaking point. The willow's branches can bend and move out of the way and absorb huge amounts of strain, and potentially stay standing long after the rock has crumbled to dust.Mina.

Quote from: Vexing on December 29, 2008, 02:13:47 AMIt has a lot to do with what we eat; being over-fed is one reason - another is the increased amounts of hormones and hormone mimicking chemicals in food and our environment. Have a look at the effect of fertilizers and chemical effluent on fish - the research is quite fascinating.
Quote from: Kara-Xen on December 29, 2008, 02:16:02 AMOh I know. I feel like I'm jumping ship and abandoning males I hang out with.. Cause I always tell them how screwed the Y chromosome is in our current world. Its kind of a schadenfreude thing...I'm a sicko
