Mothers can be wonderful, but they can also be the hardest to get to understand the whole "I'm *not* your daughter, I'm your
son". It's hard, and I honestly can't give any decent advice. I know after I came out to my parents they started watching me to see if they could notice any change (I'm not being paranoid, I *know* Mum and Dad were both watching me, I'd catch them staring and everything, and their bedroom's next door to mine, so I can hear when they talk about me too. Not always definite words, but I know when my name comes up

). Do you have any friends who know about you who you could move in with for a bit? Having supportive friends can make a world of difference. And if your mum wants you "fixed", she honestly doesn't know what she has.

Hang in there, mate. If you *have* to escape the situation, reading a really good book or listening to beautiful music is probably better for you than bingeing.

Don't give up, and believe in yourself. It's
your life, not hers.
