All right.  I'm not really new...but I am new to the ftm forum, so it's nice to meet the ones of you that I haven't met yet.

For a long time, I have identified as androgyne and in a way I still do, but I think I'm finally ready to accept that I am ftm.  *sigh*  It really shouldn't have taken this long, but anyway...

Mostly, all I want is to live as a man.  I don't really have too much dysphoria.  I have at times, but I think I am comfortable enough now to not take T or have any surgery (I have a thing about my skin being broken...I can't even get my ears pierced without passing out and I most likely have a bleeding disorder called Von Willebrands that normally isn't a problem but any major bleeding like surgery can be a problem...sadly, the only way to know for sure is a bleeding test...back to the broken skin thing...I'm utterly ridiculous ). 

So I guess I fall somewhere between androgyne and ftm or maybe I'm both or who the heck knows.  Anyway, it's nice to meet you all.

I agree about the skin being broken, though. I'm not so bad as to pass out, but when it came to getting my ears pierced, I clutched to the chair and refused to move until it was done. XP

Oh, the last time I had them done I had to sit in the floor for a while until I felt well enough to stand again.  *sigh*  It just freaks me out for some reason.  I'm cool if I just cut my hand or something, that's no big deal, but getting a shot or anything like that?  I'm a goner.  It really sucks because I LOVE tattoos and piercings. 

Oh noes. lol. I hate needles, too. I want a tat, but I'm terrified. lol. When I was younger, it took like, five nurses, the doctor, and my mom, to hold me down to give me shots. Now, I just go to my happy place. XP

I'm actually the opposite. Getting cut with a knife makes me feel ill. But anything involving needles doesn't bother me. Then again I don't bleed much from them.

I don't really know what it is.  I've tried everything I can think of, getting my ears pierced, watching people get tattoos, watching those gory medical shows, etc.  It always ends up the same way...dizzydizzydizzy.
