Hey girls my name is Matilyn i'm 20 years old right now and just at the begining of my hopefully wonderful trip..My whole life i've always felt as if i should be a girl and it's not been to recently it's been such a big thing to me..Right now like i said i'm at the very begining so this is still all kind of scary to me but it's something i feel i NEED to do..I was on the chat the other night and met a few people that were just SO nice, it's great being able to finally express my feelings a little bit! Anyways...i'm 20 years old and am living in FL.  I love to dress up when i'm alone and cant wait to be able to express myself to other's around me..In the mean time i'm just researching and planning..hope to here from some of you ladies! As far as researching and planning youve found yourelf a great resource and support place here.... Im a younger person myself (though not quite as young as you... lucky LoL) and its helped me more than I could ever truely vocalize 

Im sure someone else will say it too but here it goes.  Feel free to post where you like, so long as your on topic.... theres tons of info all over this site.... and just remember to read and follow the rules.

You'll love it here! Although it took me over half a century to realize I had to transition it only took me 24 hours to realize I found a home here. Hope you feel the same.

Hello and Welcome to Susan's, Matilyn!

I had a curious mixture of fear, depression and excitement after I finally came to my senses about who I am.  It's kind of a crazy feeling.  I was able to help ease some of that stuff by reading and contributing posts here at Susan's.  I really hope that this will happen for you too.  Finding a gender specializing therapist was even more helpful to me because he tailor's his advice and guidance so it fits diectly with my personal circumstances.  If you haven't done that already, I highly recommend that you find one too.

For general information please feel free to explore this whole site.  The links, library and, especially, the WIKI are stuffed with valuable information that will help along the journey.  The forums are safe and supportive, made so by the wonderful members here and the forum's moderators.  The rules are easy to read and follow too.
