Ms.Behavin

On the Bi thingy.  My current SO is BI and she feels like she's half guy and half girl,  She walks like a Guy for goodness sake.  she's half and half.  I think like TG/ TS , being Bi may be partly sexual attraction and also partly gender identity. Gee the best of all worlds.

Surely there must be some Lesbian Cafes, Bars and Clubs fairly close?

Even here in the UK "Qur'an Belt" we have them! ;D

I don't know, these backward bible crazy states...I know of a girl who drives almost four hours to come to the trans group here in Louisville.  Granted, Lexington might be a tad closer, but it would still be at least three hours.

That's basically the case here, only I can't afford to travel all over the place. Can't spare the time or the money. It's really quite frustrating sometimes.

Actually, I live in a very tolerant city.  I know, it's a surprise, right?  But Louisville's pretty large and very artsy.  We just need stay away from small towns...where they actually have pitchforks, torches, and crosses... >:-)

Nashville is a pretty tolerant place to live as well- very cosmopolitan, and artsy too, as you might imagine with all the celebs that live here. We have an excellent local tg support group and lots of friendly stores, restaurants, clubs, etc. Sigh it's just too bad the "bible belt" is so darn huge, with so many little backwaters where anything out of the "norm" is eyed with extreme suspicion. and yeah, they have pitchforks.  :-\

And torches too. Don't forget the torches!

Nashville

BAT TOWER!!!

:D  We went to Opry Land every year when I was a kid!  I miss it...it was the best theme park EVER!  I actually grew up closer to Nashville than I did Louisville.
