Hi Blaire, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2230 strong.  That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another member. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Hi Blaire!

I just introduced myself a couple of days ago, so I'm still getting to know people here too. I have found the 'holding down a job while transitioning' part very difficult myself. I can rage about it endlessly! My initial attempt to transition was such a disaster, leaving me homeless and unemployed after a few months on hormones. You've already done better than me, on that count!

I have been trying, since then, to find a way to support myself, find secure (transition tolerant) employment and the guidance needed to be successful in my next attempt. I desperately regret the ten year delay, but even when I was 29, I wished I had not waited so long!

I look forward to getting to know you. *hugs*

'til next time, take care!

Hi Blaire
Welcome and sorry to hear about the job stuff. Can you tackle them with discrimination laws? I know they vary from place to place. In Australia we can sue for unfair dismissal for such an event. And we would easily win.

Any how
Love and Hugs

So good to see you again, girl!  I think you'll find your home here quite comfortable.

Welcome, Blaire.

It's always nice to have a new "face" and new perspectives on the board. Sorry about the termination and hope ya get a chance to show how good you are real soon at another place. :icon_hug:

Settle in and enjoy yourself.

Welcome, Blaire.

Too bad about your job. :(  No regrets, though.  We just do the best we can and transition when we and the world around us are ready.  I made a feeble attempt in 1983 but neither I nor the world I lived in was ready then.  I hope you find work at a place more compatible.

Blaire:
Hi. So sorry about the grief since being outed. I'm with you. I wish I had not waited so long. I feel that the longer we wait, the more complications there are.
Welcome to the site!
Hugs,

I'll be looking for your posts!

Keep the faith, hon.  If you interview as Blaire, then they really shouldn't have a problem with you then, would they?
