HRT helped my skin a little, and it was noticable within the first month, but it was a consistent skincare routine that helped it the most. Everyone probably has different suggestions for that, but one thing that really helped heal my skin and repair the damage acne had done was using a really good moisturizer. I ordered mine through my laserplace, but you can order them online aswell.
http://www.firstforskincare.com.au/There are buttons at the top of the page to change it to your locality. I wanted to post about this moisutizer ages ago because it is really helpful for after laser and IPL treatments and helps heal the damage that electro can sometimes do to your face.
I have had bright red weeping skin on my face from acne since I was little but this stuff really helped, plus it's a two birds with one stone kinda thing if you're going to have hair removal soon (though make sure to tell your hairgirl that your using it). I use the AVST2, which I can't seem to find on their site, but you're probably best to start with the Environ Original Moisture Gel. That's what I started on. It seems pretty expensive, but a very small amount will last you months because you don't need to use much.
Wow, that sounded like I was one of those door-to-door saleswomen that sell the cosmetics.

Good luck with your skin and your upcoming HRT!
