Many of you might know me in one incarnation or another through my website,
transvamp.com. My story is similar to a lot of people. I had thoughts and feelings of wanting to be a girl at the age of 4 and in my teens I started crossdressing which lasted well into my 20s and then I felt that what I was doing was a lot more than just putting on women's clothes. I had a girlfriend who was understanding at the time, now she's my wife, and we're going to have our second child together. She knows my gender issues and has been reasonably supportive of me and my goals. April 2003 was when I first started hormones through self-medication and just last year (March 2008) my doctor/hospital knows about all of the medications I've been taking and asked me the usual Benjamin Standards of Care questions. My driver's license has my girl self on it, but I haven't changed my name yet, which will just be a shortened version of my boy name (it will be Clare eventually). That's just a few of the things that are off the top of my head right now, so feel free to ask me anything. I've been an Internet veteran since 1986.
