Which sports do you regularly engage in as your female self?  In other words, you go out into public and participate.

Check all that apply.

Also, if you are full time now, do you engage in activities less, as much or more than before transitioning?

I chose running/jogging. I usually do it near the end of my day while I still look presentably fem but don't have to worry about the sweat running my makeup. I feel kinda silly exercising with makeup on but by the end of the day it doesn't look so fresh and usually I only have on foundation and eyeliner with some contouring, no lipstick.

I prefer not to say which sport. It is public and it does require going to parts of the country that I would not normally go and being photographed constantly.

And I participate in activities now far more than I did pre-surgery or even pre-transition. I am finally comfortable with myself and that shines through.

Oh and Cami, right there with you on the makeup. :)

I bowled on a woman's league last year, but when the league ended I haven't had the time.  I used to golf and would love to again.

The new me does walking 3-6 miles at a time.  Biking with a folding 3 speed.  A little Kayaking (it's my dinghy) and sailing as I love the water. Oh and Yoga too

I never did or liked the normal 'Ball" games.  I did watch one superbowl, but that was back in 1982.  I did race Bicycles (took first in a state road race and went to the nationals once, so was pretty hard core), but don't really like hard cycling anymore.  Also did Kempo before, was 1st dan, but not anymore.  Sailing is about the only thing I still do the same as before and it's cruising NOT racing.

I'm much more active in sports now than I was pre-transition. In fact I'm more active in pretty much everything now.

I seem to be less active than before but I didn't ever want to play male oriented ball games.

I walk a lot and occasionally play a little tennis but I know my fitness needs a lot of improvement.

BTW everybody. Julie Marie is a golf nut! She was nice enough to buy us some new technology clubs for my b-day. I have to admit that having the right equipment really makes the game more enjoyable. Just like transition! ha, h :Da

I like to ride my bike on trails and through the park. When things are going really good I've ridden up to 20 miles in a day. Average is around 9-10. I have not been lately..its been too hot. I need to pick it up this year. I've been too depressed to do just about anything at all.
