I've tried googling but in vain. What are the differences in fact of Estradiol and Estradiol Valerate and their effects?

I provide the link because I don't know the answer to your question.

Estradiol valerate is injected estrogen.  Estradiol is an estrogen compound used widely in both oral and transdermal medications.

Injected... blah, I hate needles.

Thanks Annwyn.

Me2 but its really cheap. And you get used to the needles after a while.  I guess the little blue pills from Walmart are pretty cheap too.

All methods of administration have their ups and downs.  Please don't do injections if you're past 40, any complication to the medicine and you still have the stuff STUCK in your leg for the next week at the least.

A Valerate is a chemical compound modifier that increases the chain length of the drug Estradiol as to have a longer effect in the body because it takes longer for the liver to process and dispose of un-metabolized leftovers.

I don't think dear as the brand name Progynova which I used once is 2mg of pure Estradiol Valerate in pills.

Thanks flan, you always answered my questions sharply from the very first day I'm here.  ;)

Thinking and knowing are two different things.

Injected progynova is estradiol valerate.

Oral progynova is 17beta estradiol.

Argue all you want against the facts, but if someone is educated and taking time to help you and you contradict them then it's akin to a slap in the face.

Good day.

I'm sorry but I didn't mean to offend you but Progynova is really Estradiol Valerate and not Estradiol only. Google 'Progynova' and you'll see how the first top 3 links say Progynova is Estradiol Valerate. Maybe there is another Progynova which has only estradiol only as you say but mine I swear which I used was pure Estradiol Valerate pills branded Progynova. By the way, you look very cute & beautiful.  ;)

No, you're wrong.

Attempt to read things thorougly, please.  It's even stated on your little online pharmacy site, inhouse or 4corners or whereever you go since I know progynova isn't distributed widely in the USA.

Actually, I just looked these up. Both 4corners and Inhouse Pharmacy explicitly identify Progynova as "Estradiol Valerate" (or "Oestradiol Valerate," depending on which page you are looking at). You might have to scroll down a little, but it's there. I don't include the link, but it's pretty easy to look up if you're already familiar with those sites.

This drug is equivalent to natural 17 beta-oestradiol. It is generally well-tolerated, and clinical data from postmenopausal women suggest it is safer than ethinyloestradiol for long-term use, with less risk of breast cancer, thromboembolic events or liver problems.

Yes, that is correct. Let me clarify. Progynova is 17 beta-estradiol. I do not dispute that. But if Inhouse Pharmacy (apparently your source for the above quotation) can be trusted, Progynova is also estradiol valerate, as Shelina says. That means that it is a particular type of preparation--an ester or compound--of 17 beta-estradiol, just as Flan says. I'm not saying that it ISN'T 17 beta estradiol.

And I think it very interesting that your quotation appears in the Inhouse page RIGHT UNDER the section header "Progynova--estradiol valerate." You appear to have forgotten both the header AND the text that explicitly identify Progynova as estradiol valerate.

I don't know what you are talking about......and I'm over 40. Are you saying if its not compounded right or something? I keep pretty active especially on shot day to make sure it gets worked into the muscle pretty well.
