I was just wondering if anyone had any good recomendations for a good plastic surgeon that does noses.  preferably in the L.A. and Las Vegas.  Thanks so much for your time.

Finding a plastic surgeon in LA is like finding water at the ocean.  I'm sure they range from Dr. Nick and his dremel to 'you're kidding, I paid less for my house.'  But I'd start with the ones who practice in Beverly Hills.

Is there something I'm missing from a frontal view?  Do you need a medical correction on your nose?

Get on something like Yelp or Citysearch. I've found that people tend to be very honest about their experiences and don't pull their punches.  You want to know the real dirt behind a business?  Semi-anonymous internet reviews are the way to go.

Yeah, except that just like in real life you're going to hear from a lot more people with complaints than with complements.

fine by me.  i think it's universally known that people are more inclined to complain than to praise.  i'd prefer to read if my surgeon-to-be is in the habit of butchering people.

But since you have no baseline - nor any outside data - you really haven't found out much.  So they did five bad surgeries, out of how many, ten, a couple thousand?  And I want to see the before pictures before I judge the after ones.

thanks for your replies. I'm going to shop around by reviewing some internet review sites, as well as get a couple of consultations first.  As for my nose, make up does wonders for thinning it out lol.  I just want it thinned out a little bit, but nothing done with the length so much. thanks
