I can imagine it must be very difficult being transgender in China. Are you MtF or FtM? I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be for you. I'm sure you will find many friends here at Susan's, everyone seems to be so wonderful and supportive.

You are chinese, huh? That's cool, I think it's fun and interesting to learn about different countries. I live in the U.S.A. and all they really talk about is this country in history class. They act like it's the only country worth knowing about. >.<

I'm learning Japanese right now, I was thinking about tackling Chinese afterwards, but I want to focus on Japanese until I master it.

I may not be Asian, but I know someone who is and visits his relatives in Japan often.

Maybe not every individual, but Asian countries are very aggressive toward each other. There's a lot of xenophobia that goes on.

If anyone was wondering I merged the same topic in the crossdresser forum with this one.

i don't like to talk about hatred between my country and Japan.i think history can be read not to be remeber and hate.i usually remeber interesting things make me Spirit of Beauty.

No, but my girlfriend is transgender.  我是英国人, 我会说普通话一点 ... but not very good, I'm afraid.  Just enough to say hello, order chao fan and pi jiu and talk to pretty girls! hehe...  Anyway, I thought I would try and make an effort for you to show you a welcome!   There are lots of good people here who can give you plenty of advice.

I've spent a bit of time in China and had an apartment in Beijing for a year, which was a really great experience.  I live in the UK now, though.

You sound a very nice person. I'm in Australia so now you have friends in at least three countries. As others have said be careful of putting personal contact details in plain view. The people on the forum are fine but others can read some posts and they may not be. What part of China are you in? I've had a number of Chinese students and have enjoyed their company a great deal.
